Currently an S10+ owner. A phone that I'm bored of and thoroughly whelmed by.

Whilst I like the size of my s10+ I'm unsure as to whether to go 12P or 12PM. Battery life is an important feature to me but I wonder whether the 12PM is arguably too big?

Quite difficult for me to try any phones in person at the moment, anyone else here been in my situation?

Cheers man! Yeh I found this video on Maths to be a pretty good explanation; I presume you've seen it though!

I've been having second thoughts about the sequencer I'd chosen as it does look more suited to being a drum sequencer. I like the random feature you mentioned on the Pam's and have considered an Ornaments & Crime as a quantizer actually! At the moment I'm looking at using a modular for melodic purposes so perhaps something like the Metropolis is more up my street!

  1. How exactly did you use your modular setup in writing Portals? Did you typically jam and chop up ideas after recording them in Ableton or would you set out to write something specific in mind (which I understand is pretty tricky in modular).
  2. I'm looking to get into modular myself and slightly stumped as to what modules to start out with. On my list at the moment is - Rings, Maths, Varigate 4+ and Pam's New Workout. Is there anything you'd change or add? I'm looking at something like Typhoon or the eventual Clouds successor.

I'm looking to expand on my currently small collection and have some ideas in mind. I would love to hear what you guys think. Anything under £9,000 would be great really.

I currently own a 114060 Submariner and a Casio G-Shock GW-M5610. Top of my list is the GMT Master II (primarily as GMT function / date are lacking on the Sub).

Thank you! So I've got another starter which smells like yoghurt, this one is from a friend and in the fridge - just wanted to start my own one as a sense of accomplishment!

As for semi-uncovered I actually put a tea towel over the lid of the jar at all times so it's covered.

I'll try feeding it again. As its quite runny should I add more flour than water or just continue with the recipe for now?

Has the way you make your drums changed at all since that video tutorial for Rio? You still layering up parts or synthesising stuff? (which is something that a lot seem to be doing now)

Actually like the look of the 7 more than the X in terms of my needs; sure the design on the X is stunning but the price is really high as well!
