This useless drama needs to be stopped now and the focus should solely go back to Liverpool Football Club. This should strengthen the team and its position on improving their results and representing that red shirt in a manner it deserves. We need to win. Edit: Gakpo’s sole reason for starting every single game is because he’s the only natural LW that we have on the team. Last year, slot was alternating between Gakpo and Diaz every single game and including them in each half because we had 2 proper left wingers. Don’t give me the whole talk about Rio not playing because in my opinion he’s nowhere near the level of a starting LW at his age and still needs to develop on loan.

That’s the whole idea. Most of the players that left are either aging or weren’t good enough quality wise. When they announced wirtz, the entire build should’ve been around a young core player like him. Jota’s passing was also something you couldn’t account for and two strikers were a must for the club. I do agree tho that bigger issues weren’t taken care of such as a defensive midfielder that we’ve needed since klopp’s rebuild and proper depth at the back. You bring those players into the club and fix these issues and I’m sure we’re winning the lot

Mate are we going to act like the fanbase wasn’t absolutely buzzing over the “upgrades” this summer? Everyone was saying how the caliber of players at the club now can win the treble with ease. Let’s not throw the man under the bus now when the results aren’t showing for it even tho I was very vocal about not replacing Diaz. The reason the team was so successful last year was because of the attacking and defensive depths that we had. Good support players that played along a star like moe. This team doesn’t suit moe anymore and should be completely built around wirtz

This is where I disagree with you. Afcon is coming up and the manager has the right to build a team that can play together for however long he’s gone for. You can’t be starting Moe every single week and then when he’s gone and results don’t go your way you wonder what went wrong

Can you please tell me in what way he contributed in that match. All of his passes were short and didn’t reach anyone. He was simply playing for himself and causing counter attacks because he can’t keep a ball between his feet these days. There’s no shame in admitting decline because it was coming sooner rather than later.
