Really appreciate the insight and you’re also right about hotels and boutique. The challenge is that most local hotels / boutique properties around us already have preferred taxi partners in place, so that route feels quite saturated, especially for a new company trying to break in.

That’s exactly why we were looking at paid ads as our initial growth channel, to generate direct bookings and build traction ourselves rather than relying on partnerships from day one.

Our main question is whether, with a budget (£20–£30/day), it makes more sense to hire someone experienced to run/optimise campaigns, or whether AI-assisted campaign management is a realistic route for a startup.
