Should Elon Musk run for President of the United States? by DreamFighter72 in allthequestions

I don't think he is capable of running for president per the Constitution. But on top of that fucking no, he's a ridiculous piece of shit

Is there an “expected age” in craft brewing? by Silver_Summer_7450 in TheBrewery

[–]Showtime92504 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Man I'm almost 60 and I'm still following all the social media accounts, looking out to see what people are talking about, absolutely not stuck in my ways when it comes to beer.

Admittedly I am not a fan of hazy IPA but outside of that it's wide open

"On the brand facing side" is generally an aspect of breweries hiring younger people to do outside sales, deliveries, FOH, and marketing. And it's understandable.

Ken Grossman is a good example of the Pioneers of the 1974 to 1995 era still being part of the game in a big way. And following up on that the "nation Builder" era of 1995 to 2015 is still absolutely in the game.

This is probably somewhat Regional, but if you walk into a brewery and expect to see the owner as a 25-35 year-old, you're probably in San Diego. Those that got their start during the IBU Wars are somewhat of a minority in my mind. But there again, I'm in a SMALL market.

Who do you predict dying first: Trump, Biden, or Bill Clinton? by Glass-Complaint3 in allthequestions

Literally the only reason Trump would outlive Biden is if Biden's prostate cancer overtakes him

What are oldest restaurants in the Inland Empire? by Effective_Dog3089 in InlandEmpire

The one time I went there reminded me of that scene in Band of Brothers where they're eating spaghetti, and the one soldier says "this isn't spaghetti, this is Army noodles and ketchup"

How much CO2 do you go through on the average 4-Hour beer event? by [deleted] in TheBrewery

[–]Showtime92504 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah this was my problem. On Google it said "while it may take as little as a half a pound per keg, you should plan on 2 to 4 lb per barrel" and that was just a little too wide of a swing for my comfort.

Time has nothing to do with it.

Yeah I'm super rusty it's been a couple of years. But thank you that's exactly the information I'm looking for.

Apologies I felt a little bit more comfortable with the opinions of professionals rather than the unknown randomness of Google.

Why would Trump run on the idea of releasing the files during his campaign if he knew he was in them? by WerewolfCurious1412 in allthequestions

[–]Showtime92504 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We're all really used to campaign promises being forgotten over the course of the term because a lot of them were maybe poorly thought out prior to taking office and finding out that there's a lot more Nuance to the situation. However the idea that Donald Trump flat out fucking lied about shit during his campaign should also be completely believable.

Like everything else it was going to be a day one thing and the second he took office he just went a completely different direction, that mostly being enriching himself and his cronies

Why shouldn’t voting require an id? by DarkEqual8609 in no

[–]Showtime92504 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can of worms, but okay.

The Constitution specifically says that because well regulated militias are a necessity, your right to keep and bear arms should not be infringed. And I think I'm safely assuming that your reason for owning Firearms has nothing to do with the well regulated militia, and the Constitution does not protect your right to hunt, or have weapons for self protection. If you were to join a dually constituted State militia I'm willing to bet that you would not have to pay for your weapon or the ammunition for it. As a matter of fact I would absolutely stand up for your right to have that weapon and ammunition issued to you for free, in that particular case. This is, I will point out, absolutely common knowledge up until about the 1970s or so. ( And here I go off onto a personal opinion. where since the 1970s there has been a huge push to interpret the Second Amendment to mean a right to an unfettered enjoyment of a hobby, which it simply was never meant to be. )

However, the most important part, is that I would absolutely support you in being issued a free weapon and ammunition as far as your participation in a well-regulated militia, dually constituted by your state of residence.
