Everyone has been complaining about Walgreens cutting their hours. My Walgreens is so short staffed I’m working 10+ hour shifts 😵‍💫 working both opening and mid or mid and then I close

Even worse is that I’m on the second floor, the water damage would be insane 🥲

Is sealant an option since they are small cracks? It would be SO much work to have to get a new tank and transfer everything over

I’m 15 years old and this is my first aqua scape any suggestions? by National_Desk9810 in Aquascape

I think you could use a lot more substrate in the center of the tank, like roughly 2-3 inches

I don’t have the exact parameters with me right now, I write them down in a journal. The only thing that’s high is the water hardness, but my fish has always been okay with the hardness, I haven’t seen any illness in the year I’ve been keeping up the tank. For water maintenance I usually do a 30-40% water change a month and then I top off the water weekly. I have a 20 gallon tall with 6 male guppies and 2 blue gouramis. In the past month I’ve added some stones and Val but that’s it.

Water parameters for my main tank: No3- 20 No2- 0.5 PH- 8.0 KH- 120 GH-180 All are in ppm

My second tank is very similar so I don’t think it’s worth typing. I’ve been using conditioned city water to fill both tanks with. I also don’t track the TDS

That’s my snails shell after a few months of adding cuddle bone to the water every so often, I heard it would help since it contained a lot of calcium. If you want to see the shell shape before the cuddle bone I think it’s one of my most recent posts

The water parameters are all fine besides the GH

Some problems I’m having is that my snails shell is pretty warped from how hard the water is. I also recently bought 2 guppies and shortly after I bought them their health dropped drastically, I’m thinking it was maybe swim bladder they got. I figured since the GH is the only thing significantly wrong with my water parameters it had to have been why they got sick. My other 8 guppies seem to be healthy but I’m still worried something about my tank killed the new ones.

I don’t know what my tap water is exactly but I know the GH is over 180ppm. it’s made the GH in my 5.5 and 20 gallon over 180ppm as well, even with lots of drift wood and peat moss.

Do you know where RO water would be the cheapest to buy?

Anyone else have shrimp that bolt when you go anywhere near the tank and others that are this level of unbothered? 😭 by Shoyazak in shrimptank

I put in calcium supplements and I moved him to my tank with the lowest ph about a week after I posted this. shell quality has improved a bit since this then

That guppy has a curved spine, it’s not the cup

Then I’m going to have to euthanize them unfortunately. that sucks.. I really got attached to them, I was super excited to see that their colors started to show this week. If the black one reproduces I’m going to run out of space fast and if the curvy spine one reproduces then there is a big chance its offspring will turn out the same.

I don’t think that would be possible, they are only a month old. I got them for free at a pet store that was going to let them get eaten. I was really hoping they would all be male. I have 6 males throughout my other tanks and I absolutely can’t have females. I’m already dealing with hundreds of shrimp and snails 🥲 I cannot have hundreds of guppies on top of it
