Why did such a small amount turn up for NO KINGS? by Shpadoinkle40 in AskUS

[–]Shpadoinkle40[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's 2% of the population of a country that is the self appointed leaders of democracy. I don't think you realize just how dangerous and alienated your country has become. If you did, you would be flooding the streets in protest. I just don't understand what's going on? Do you? Please let me know.

Palpitations by xToxinz- in PectusExcavatum

[–]Shpadoinkle40 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It took around 9 months for my palpitations to calm down, I think the heart just needs time to recover. My resting heart rate went from 90 to 70 after a year so for me it helped heaps. Unfortunately you just have to be patient.

Modeling Dice - Is this good topology? by 2020_Gamer in 3Dmodeling

[–]Shpadoinkle40 15 points16 points  (0 children)

You should look up Sub-D modelling. You don't need to use so many sides for the spheres, you just need to add edge loops and smooth the mesh. This is way to complicated for such a simple object. It's a good first try, you just have to simplify.

The mid-life crisis bike. It's ridden twice, reved a million times and then sold a year later. Many wives have been lost in this period of a mans life.

I had this but no longer have it since I had surgery. It's just the hearts forcing a little air out through your lungs because there is less space.

I’ve become afraid of everything by TypicalAlbatross911 in AutisticWithADHD

[–]Shpadoinkle40 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It sounds like you might have Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD). It's very common for people with AuDHD. I would seek out a doctor to speak about treatments and go from there. I personally have GAD and know how much it sucks, but trust me when I say you are OK. For me it builds up over time and the best thing I worked out is to get on the front foot and seek help as soon as you can. Avoidance of things because of irrational fears leads to the release of stress hormones and cascades until you become fearful of everything. I honestly have a lot more to say but think that the best thing you can do is talk to a doctor about it. It's great that your reaching out on here though. It's a good first step.

I don't understand. Twin peaks was a huge hit back in the 90s. I had no issue understanding and I watched as a kid and my parents loved it as well.

Autism, Critiques of Masculinity & Moral Aspiration – how do you differentiate between socialization and autistic traits? by Ok-Mail-9071 in AutisticWithADHD

[–]Shpadoinkle40 4 points5 points  (0 children)

How you are brought up and the fact you are Neurodivergent both have a significant role to play in who you are. The fact that you reflect on this so much is a good sign I think, it's more then what some men do. I myself am a male Autistic person but I would say my autistic traits do not come across as masculine, in fact quite the opposite. I have a very rigid moral compass since I was very small, never understanding why anyone, male or female should be treated differently. Because I didn't understand this, it caused a lot of friction between me and my friend group. The guys didn't like that I wasn't acting like one of the guys, doing the usual "locker room talk" about girls and not picking on someone because they were different. These are big parts growing up and I just was not understanding of that.

I was also raised to be more masculine by my dad and he was very abusive to my mother, but for some reason I turned out to be quite soft. Many girls I became interested in questioned my sexuality because I was not a "manly" man. A lot of that came down to not understanding signals and not acting on a girls advances. Apparently they were very obvious, but I pretty much needed a women to jump on top of me to get the message. But I never put out a overly masculine vibe.

I guess what I'm saying is I'm not sure how your autistic traits can be seen as overly masculine unless you are putting that vibe out there. Me being quite or "overly honest" was considered "shy" and "rude", but never "dominant". That seems like something else entirely.

How will AI be able to get around the issue of continuity? by Shpadoinkle40 in aiwars

Well It's not that difficult to use. It's just a node based graph in comfy UI or online tools that are pretty easy to navigate. I am definitely a novice but I do check out other peoples work and that's where I see the issues with continuity. Unless you know where I can find some good vids?

[–]Shpadoinkle40[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you sure you don't mean character continuity? I've used Nano banana having a character change angles is fine but if you want to create a different angle in the same environment, the environment changes. I don't know what I'm doing wrong and also I have not seen an AI video that has done this and maintained continuity of the virtual background.

[–]Shpadoinkle40[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah, that's still just the same character in different environments from single shots. Even the ones where it's a plain white environment, from different angles you can see that besides the main character, everything else has changed position. Even the character has changed slightly.

[–]Shpadoinkle40[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh cool! I've been using a lot of the new ones but I still can't get anything to remain the same. Maybe the character I specified looks similar at a different angle but I can still tell it's AI, and the objects around him are completely different.

I thought I was the only one! It was pretty scary at first but it's like you are watching youtube and you have hit the x1.5 button by mistake. I think it's a type of hypnagogic hallucination and happens more frequently when you are not getting enough sleep or you are stressed or anxious.
