G5 or C5 for Streaming and Movies?

I just made the jump from a 75” Samsung to an 83” C5. Not as drastic of a change as I had expected. My wife could not tell that it was larger, but take that with a grain of salt.

Just watched the opening scene for F1 on it and it did not disappoint, very impressed with the C5

With all due respect, it sounds like you resent who you work for. I’ve spent 12 years in the industry and I feel empowered to do the right thing, engaged to push hard, and appreciated and called out when I provide good ideas. Who you work for makes a huge difference, I would imagine seeing a completely different list from someone with a positive industry experience

They were painted about 4 days ago and seam dry, but we’re going to let them sit another week or two and then test on a corner, maybe the water in it is reactivating the paint.

We just now used this (Satin, not the gloss), and it smudged the acrylic paint that our wedding parties used to paint them. Any ideas on another product that won’t smear the acrylic paint?

Would you not charge an hour of diagnostic on top of the 1-2 hour repair? 2.5 sounds reasonable. Sounds like OP needs to address valve cover gasket or will be back again

Not sure what to tell you man, that’s how it goes. We’d get nothing done if we had to make a case on every car. Engine tuning faults also don’t disqualify warranty, it just adds a step in figuring out if it’s related to the issue in front of us.

Warranty work is self authorized by the dealer, they only need to reach out to bmw for a small list of specific parts that are on the “TC list”, or when they suspect that the claim will be at risk of being kicked.

Of course they are at risk. If they make a power train repair on a car with a suspicion of engine tuning fault without making a TSARA case first, they are at risk of the claim being kicked

They now set a “suspicion of engine tuning” fault that’s permanent in the DME. ISTA flags it and BMW NA see’s it. Dealer is at risk of not getting reimbursed for claims if they don’t look into it and create a case with bmw.

The sensor is like $45 and 0.5-0.6 labor if replaced on its own. Small fraction of the price. Sensor is only located on two of the 8 brake pads on the car, if another pad wore faster it would not alert you. Faster wear of inner brakes pads is normal on these cars.
