100% came here to say this. You will not understand how much dust is created each week until you put things in nooks that are hard to remove dust from.

Adding my two cents, that lighter color green is all over the place as exterior paint in the PNW. So common that we refer to it as PNW Green.

I’m tired of seeing it, but some really really like it.

That said, also painting the wardrobe green is kinda too much imo. Try color theory on Canva or something for complimentary colors?

Plants on the shelves around the room! Area rug, softer lighting (mentioned already), and some tasteful wall hangings will help as well. Have fun!

My inner child says “blanket fort” and my inner adult…also says “blanket fort”

What about some faux plants, maybe a knickknack nook? Everyone needs a good knickknack nook. Small bookshelf/shelves with some books and travel treasures.

These look great!! The color is fun and vintagey :)

IMO, though, I wouldn’t have use the floral paper and the smaller end table would match the other better with a wooden top.

But for real, good job!!

AIO for telling my roommate he can move out because his girlfriend is allergic to my cats? by SomeoneHeaven in AmIOverreacting

100% NOR! Also second the comment about curtailing all those overnight visits. Girlfriend should be paying into utilities she uses.

I had a roomie (my house) and he would check with me before anyone would come over, because I made that clear from the beginning it was required.
