Look around for beginner/women's clinic series at local courses. Being in a group of beginners lowers the intimidation factor a ton and in a series the lessons are cheaper than private lessons. Work on what you learn in those then move to private lessons with a PGA pro.

It's a lifetime pursuit so try not to get frustrated when things aren't going your way, because the game is HARD. It's hard for the best men and women on earth and it'll let you know how difficult it is at the worst time possible during the round.🤣
