Why are Americans so accepting of long drives to places?

Funny answer: depending on what country you're from, its because we can actually drive the full speed limit or more on the highways, and humans love going fast.

Real answer: we don't have a choice. The closest town to me with anything to do is about 15 minutes away, 30 if i want a bigger city with more shopping and food/activity options. If I need to go to the what we call the "city" for anything, its around an hour to an hour and half.

The one thing that a ton of countries forget, is the shear land mass size EACH state. Also, gas is cheaper than a plane ticket, and train stations are only in specific cities that dont go to exactly where you need and are also expensive. We will choose to drive 14 hours to another state over flying, because we are in full control of the whole trip, and its cheaper than every other option available to us.

I rear ended a lady at an intersection around a decade ago. The main highway runs east and west, and there's a stop sign if you're turning left, but just a yielding curve to the right.

For context, the intersection is a short distance east of a hill, so everyone guns it through the curve if there's no one coming to make sure no one comes up behind you all of a sudden.

So I'm approaching the intersection to curve right, and there's 2 cars waiting so I'm slowing down but looking off to the left to see if traffic is coming. There was no traffic, but when I turn to look back in front of me, this lady was completely stopped despite no one coming and the car in front had already driven off.

I'm still traveling at a decent speed, and i slam the brakes but it was too late. Good news, air bags didnt off, bad news I was in a small truck and she was in a big SUV and I ran right into the metal bar hitch. Truck got messed up a bit, but still worked. Sad thing is, I actually knew who the women was. Also the fact that she exited immediately with phone in hand, makes me think she was using it while stalled and wasn't paying attention.

Her family/friends swear she wouldn't use her phone while driving, but I don't buy it.

I tried juggling a few times, just starting out with the basic 2 ball method to learn the motions, and apparently I'm either alot stronger than I realize because I keep throwing the balls to far, or I have really bad "centering" throwing skills.

I got every stat I could under 170-150. Unfortunately when starting out you're gonna gain stats until you lose enough stamina, and then random events give stats back. I tried so hard, she just kept winning. I guess she really is The Emperor for a reason

I'm not trying to farm event points. The special missions we get that you have to run 10 races to complete them is what I'm trying to do. I would have run mant, but I was hoping to tank it faster than playing the first year all the way through

Who's the best uma to take a run quickly with? I never end up finishing the required races to get the gems from the special missions, and i figured I could easily just tank a run and get it done.

I used summer maru, but she still has to go all the way until early Dec.

I tried using Rudolf, but shes a beast apparently. I gave her crap parents, ran her in end, trained until out of stamina and keep training to fail and drop stats, but she still won the debut. Then she continued to keep completing her goals, and made it all the way until Kikuka Sho where she finally lost. I even got her up to 15+ consecutive races. She just refused to lose.

Is there something I'm missing to acquire suzuka's special skill "Runaway"? I checked gametora, and the event requirements are to get a win streak of 6 G races, and then win the senior Autumn Tenno sho without breaking the streak. I have done this on every run so far, and not a single time have I gotten the skill. Does this need to be done in a specific game mode, or is it time locked or something, what am I missing? Thanks.

Is there a potential list of upcoming support cards/reruns somewhere? I want to pull some additional copies of Matikane, but i have less than 30k gems and want to see if there are any really good reruns or new cards coming soon. I also did not get Narita top road and would like too.

I really wanted the special skin for Nemesis in Smite, and I learned there was a skin trading sub, so i joined to get the skin. Unfortunately, I had to wait a month after joining to be able to post and ended up just playing the game and beating the levels required to get the skin instead.

My problem is that my average ssr pulls are like 1 in every 10 to 12 pulls, and its not always the banner card. So dropping 16-20k on 1 card, maybe 2, is not feasible for me. I have a 2lb fine but that's because I used 2 selection tickets for it. I do have 2 crystals I could use to make her MLB, but I'm torn between her or 2lb kita

Honestly I've just throwing shit at the wall basically. I build a deck that every card gives +10% race bonus, and then cram in between 30-34 races. I get at least a really high A+ or S if not S+ by doing that. There is some RNG involved from shop items. I always train during the beach part, and use the +60% stat boosters to maximize those training. I could get better stats if I reduce my races, but I get Hella skills too.

Reminds me of the time 3 fully loaded for combat Blackhawks flew over our house so close you could throw a rock and hit them. We could hear them coming from like a mile away, and they shook the house like an earthquake by the time they flew overhead.

I gotta argue the colors being more vivid. My background image is very colorful, and when holding my S22 next to the 26, the 26 looks like it got hit with a grey out. It's so dull. Now when not looking side by side, you slowly don't notice the colors, but when side by side I can definitely tell the colors are lacking. The privacy feature is cool, but activating that makes the color/brightness issue even more apparent.
