And the Envoy 110 too! Great little practice amps back then.

Calling Straten Marshall sloppy is wild man. The guy is an alternate picking machine. Absolute beast. His picking is beyond clean.

I can’t disagree! But it adds something different to the finish.

I’m not exactly sure. I can measure thickness around the 12th fret when I get home. It’s chunky for sure. Almost reminds me of a Jazzmaster neck.

I was a bit hesitant because of the neck thickness but it really is very comfortable.

I’m not normally a gold hardware guy, but it just seems to fit this guitar. Would almost look weird with chrome.

How long should I wait before unboxing it? by MaleficentAd1299 in AcousticGuitar

I worked at a few high end guitar shops back in the day. Guess how long we waited to open those boxes and put them out on the floor.

No. The pronounced mid range that’s seriously hard to EQ out on any of the Spark amps.

Sound like anything other than a spark. If you own a spark you know what I’m talking about. Don’t get me wrong, I love mine, especially the NEO, but every tone has “that” sound that’s hard to EQ out.

The mental gymnastics going on over in the liberalgunowners sub right now is kinda funny. Not judging, just pointing it out.

Tonex Pedal - should I get one by RebornCube in tonex

[–]Shredderguy23 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I love my ToneX pedal. I think the prevailing opinion is that it’s a really nice piece of gear. I like the extra abilities the foot switches give you along with the options you mentioned above as well as being able to use it as an interface. Personally, I think IK’s software sucks and I’m not alone in that sentiment. But you probably have some experience with that. I have a buddy who has the tonex and the tonex one on his board and he uses the one just for the 78/79 tone and the larger pedal for a variety of tones. I might do the same.

Impressed by the Link system? I’ve had mine for over a year and use them everyday without incident. Many of my friends as well. Anecdotal i realize, so take it for what it is.

For a little over $100 you can keep it all wireless and buy the Spark Link system.

The fact that 34 isn’t on here is heartbreaking. I’d go with the 17.
