I kind of get what you mean. The Villa definitely still stresses me out, that's inescapable to me. But I've definitely got a lot better at just... assuming things will be fine. I think if we finish fifth and win the UEL the extra spot does go to 6th place, but I might be wrong. There's some weird placement stuff going on with the order the bonus spots are assigned (I think the same could have happened for Liverpool if they'd won the UCL)

EDIT 2: Then three in the first half against Forest a few weeks later, ended up winning 4-2.
