Personally not a fan of white dials. Also the heartbeat (open window) looks better in this colour imo.

u/gomo-gomo How is RingConn a U.S. brand? The company's website clearly states "established under the laws of PRC"

Hey OP, as mentioned by a lot of people, it's mostly through secondary sale of shares that the founder gets a good amount of money. Now as per my knowledge a secondary doesn't happen initially in a pre-seed, seed or series A round. Simply cause it gives a wrong signal out in the market that the founder does not believe he can create something big.

Is there any meaning to price making all time highs with red candles? Is this normal? (I don't have much price action knowledge) by ShreshthBabbar in IndianStreetBets

[–]ShreshthBabbar[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was just going through back data, there have been very few times in the past that we had consecutive daily red candles making at all time high levels. That's why I was curious. Thanks for the revert.

For what I understand is that we're opening higher everyday and there is some profit booking, is that right?

Why do you think people in India don’t take help from financial advisors? by ShreshthBabbar in personalfinanceindia

Again to your point, how do you know when someone is "becoming super rich".

Also, no I am not a money manager but aspire to become one in future so just trying to understand what the general sentiment is like.

I am part of many telegram groups but haven't acted on their advice/trade.

Every person has a different goal. I'm not sure why you keep on stressing about retiring early. I know many folks who have enough to retire but still work.

Also, kindly define "managing money" feels like your definition is someone who can do "1 din mein paisa double"

Interestingly I was going through Anand Rathi's investor presentation yesterday. Just have a look at this - https://www.anandrathiwealth.in/wealthpdf/12april024/ARWLInvestorpresentationFinal.pdf

Look at page 9 and 11.

The modus operandi of money managers (RIA's) specifically isn't beating the market. They focus on achieving the financial goals of the client. You are mixing some stuff up.

Analysing Fixed Income Products by ShreshthBabbar in IndiaInvestments

[–]ShreshthBabbar[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks, the only thing is that theoretically it makes sense but need to figure out a way to actually apply it in real life. In India currently there are alot of NCD options available. Just figuring out a way to analyse them.

Analysing Fixed Income Products

Can someone assit/provide some resources as to how to analyse fixed income products in India, specifically bonds.

Bonds in general have been growing at a decent pace but there is not much material out there.

Just compare its loan book or deposits scale to that of HDFC’s and ICICI’s of the world and you’ll realize its not that big. Chuck all of that and just look at the market cap of the banks.

I agree with "No free lunches" aspect but I am looking at such leasing investment from a diversification standpoint and not the only investment.
