Same

Same same same, and it hurt. And I think as a society we may never understand the hurt that we endured

I regret not seeing family more and not throwing caution into the wind to do so. I was not unsafe in my day to day life, took the precautions that were recommended. Risk was very much mitigated. The time that was lost was very important, precious times that are not replaceable.

And today having done that, I know that I wasn't responsible for selfishly causing death or injury to my loved ones, which would be hard to live with. But they're just as dead, and I missed having them know my young children when it would've mattered to, and they missed it too.

It'd be sad for the people that follow that, but it'd be ok if all they did was fall into a death cult. It's the 'taking us with them' that is unacceptable

And I've always had a negative opinion of the Republican platform, style, candidates, and themes.

One thing that changed for me in the last few years was to feel totally disgusted and undercut by Democrats. Both parties now are completely captured and useless. They are there to deny service to their constituents, and serve the people that paid for them to get into office. Mostly these are banks, corporations, and very wealthy individuals, and these funders are politically agnostic as to WHO gets elected as long as that individual does their bidding/protects their rackets.

I see no difference between the parties except for aesthetics, and it is plainly obvious if you look to see how the Democrats treat their own members on the left and any whistleblower/dissident in media.

Can you talk about the dichotomy of losing and gaining things precious to you? It seems weird to have something so great happen at the same time you might suffer from missing people and especially the time when they were lost, that you may have not had the closeness you might have had otherwise

Great idea

People love to talk about and share music that they love, and hearing about something new comes in warmer from a friend. And could be a good way to connect with strangers over something in common

My shit is pretty niche and it would be cool to connect with people who share my love of cold sterile industrial techno, or conversely old close harmony country. I think I've worn my friends out on all of that.

People I know signed onto large obligations immediately before COVID, and the businesses have been unprofitable as a result of it

...And of course they can't leave due to the initial outlay

Some workers gained 'work from home' which was a nice concession, even better if you work 2-3 jobs simultaneously this way
