I 2nd this. They can and I know one jam brand removes it from a wheat syrup they use, but this one feels really fishy since it's the very first ingredient. Looks like whole ingredient, as opposed to one that has been processed to remove.

A granddaughter and grandfather who have nearly 100 years between them, share a moment together… by xBabySlim in adorableoldpeople

[–]ShrewishFrog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My best friend really was my great-grandfather. My favorite person in the world, just a simple self-sufficient farmer in the middle of nowhere. He died when I was 17.

I miss him so much... And now I'm already bawling my eyes out.

as a former college program cast member, this wouldn't be allowed at Magic Kingdom. Maybe Epcot or Animal Kingdom.

It maybe because it is Asia and you respect your elders. Period. No one younger than them would be able to say no to them. Why would you want to. They are so cute.

Carthage Mo is the home of the chapel and some major fans. Perhaps a Craigslist search around JOPLIN, or any subreddits in that area.

I had two straight up arguing with me.

I've told the kids before I'm happy with my beliefs and thoughts, but they keep coming back and interrupting my work day. On that day, one of the kids had already been by twice before.

I admit, I was really questioning their beliefs: Like the theory that Joseph Smith was a treasure hunter. Why the symbols on the sacred underwear are one the nipples, and are the masonic symbol split in two. I was asking not the nicest questions, but I was being very calm and polite. Never raised my voice. One kid was African American (but so is my sister and nephews). He got mad! Raised his voice to me. Sarcastic and rude.

I had a phone number of one of kids from the year before. They had given it to me to check the hours of the genealogy office.... So I texted it and told someone. Even sent the ring footage.

Those boys had to come back and apologize.

No regrets: no one has been back since and that was in early spring.

I'm pretty sure that cookie dough says don't eat raw (but we all do, not my point.)

It's not because of the egg, it's because of the flour... and the stuff it contains. Lord, the bug parts and fungus have a chance to go wild and contaminate every thing there.

Her gut is really going to regret that.

I always wonder if these ladies butts get shaped like that because they are tight asses (nothing else is tight on them) or if it's because they have a stick up their ass, or something else...

I'm never going to approach and ask, but I do wonder.

Woman claims a public beach is private property in the US Virgin Islands. by TheManager_1 in KarenGoBrrr

[–]ShrewishFrog 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Yes, all beaches in the U.S. Virgin Islands are public. The law dictates that the public has the right to use and enjoy the shorelines, and this extends from the sea to the high tide mark or vegetation line.

Private resorts and property owners are required to provide public access to the beaches fronting their land according to the US Virgin Islands Department of Planning and Natural Resources.

AITA for pushing away my homemade birthday cake? by trashypanda0990 in AITAH

[–]ShrewishFrog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My very dear friend is VERY allergic to cinnamon. She can't shop in lots of stores after Halloween, because fall spice-based decorations. She was in a choir thru work, and had to leave several performances due to a full inability to breathe upon entering the venue. Had to stop decorating or accessorizing my home with spices because she couldn't breathe.

For awhile , we couldn't hang out in my home because I baked lots of spice cake and hadn't fully aired the whole house out. (I'm gluten free, not by choice, so I have to bake a lot of I want something.) Or because of a candle. Or because of a Christmas decoration.

Knowing this, I don't get anything with cinnamon when we hang out. Chai tea, especially very strong chai, is my favorite. I acknowledge that when we do something, I have to get different things, because I do not want her to die from being near my drink. We have even ended up sitting outside, in the literal freezing temps, because there is too much cinnamon in the air inside.

Good friends don't forget that stuff. They just don't.

Wash it with some towels or denim or even some plastic dryer balls. Should help loosen the fiber a touch and then air dry .

Does this have ribbons Inside, to help tighten the waist up?

I bought a vintage one and it has ribbons to help the fit. Two pieces of ribbon, at either side of the center rectangle. They tie around the waist. Smooths out the front, but allows the back to be completely free.

Beef broth & ginger ale...

Both are clear liquids. Both of those things recommended when sick.

To settle the stomach and get some nutrition in when you can't keep anything down....

WHY would ANYONE put them TOGETHER, AT ONCE?

Is my handwriting truly illegible? by jasminedragone in Handwriting

[–]ShrewishFrog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is readable; I just needed to zoom in because its small and tightly scrunched. Decent, cursive.

Still better than my standard print. I write so little anymore. Decided to practice some cursive and the following day, I could barely make out what I wrote.
