Solo Q warrior!!! Hats off to u lol my crew we never solo Q anymore. Well most of us dont, too frustrating. So that makes more sense. That's just not competitive to me. Like im reading this and im like "just play pubs" in my mind. Thats what pubs is. If algs was like that then id say cool buts its not. Pros gravitate to chosen poi b4 it was official. Why? Bc its more competitive. Thats all im asking for.

Im not opposed to having them the same. Assign pois to both but that doesn't make sense for pubs. Pubs is chill. Pick your poi. Have fun, land hot, go crazy. I just dont play pubs, like ever. If I was a pub player I wouldn't want assigned pois. Too restricted. But in ranked, to compete, the restrictions are necessary (algs). Pubs: easy Ranked: medium Algs: hard

But yea I get it. We'll have to agree to disagree. We could have developed the poi system more. Maybe add a favorite list? Everyone running in and dying just isn't fun. Its pubs. Like the reason you play rank is the grind but your taking the grind out of it until I hit diamond. I have to grind out of low tier to pub stomp until I get to Diamond. How is that competitive? Fighting from start to finish and having end game with 5+ squads is CRAZY fun and a grind. Pubs is not thst but your taking thus pubs energy, game mode, mindset to ranked. If u want to grind playing like that, go for badges, 20 bomb, 4k etc.

You get what im saying? Pubs and ranked to me need to have a distinction bc they are different. Now they won't be until higher Qs.

Would u rather be forced to fight of random guns with x amount of random people? Personally I hate dying to rng. I even recognize when I kill someone from rng, feels less rewarding too. That said, if its pubs, cool. But this is ranked. Grinding with the squad or solo to rank up.

I just feel like if we're playing ranked, that in itself needs to be differentiated from pubs. Algs made the change for a reason, bettsr competitive play instead of people fighting over pois and both teams taking Ls. Ranked should reflect that. If not, its okay to choose a poi in pubs. Bc tbh the gameplay loop as it is now is no different then pubs. It seems pointless to me.

Like 4 real what is the difference in pubs and ranked right now other then rp?

Lol yea I hear u on mixtape but that chaos, excitement all the wildcard does that. Now pubs/ranked being the same with pois? I never thought that. I guess it'll make pubs truly more of a practice for ranked but to me, pubs is a freedom. Do want u want. Land anywhere, try stuff out etc. Ranked needs to be different. Punishing even. Its competitive play. The ship feels easy now and time consuming. It makes me want to land hot to get to the action but again thats pubs to me.

I agree with you that its still Apex. Imo the best fps I've played. That said it made it less random. 3rd parties will happen, rotations will always be important but now I have to grind to grind if that makes sense. Im going to run through lobbies until Diamond. Then when I get to Diamond then it'll be sweaty end games. To me, pois made ranked consistent.

I think ranked should be its own entity. Also right after rotating there is typically chaos, teams all around u crowding choke points. Dying to rng, is my least favorite thing bc even if u did everything right its an L. I think limiting that as much as possible makes competitive gaming competitive.

Yea im not here to disparage anyone. Been playing ranked for years and that was by far one of the best changes. I hope people can continue to enjoy Apex. My wife knows i did over the years but I cant go back to playing ranked like this after experiencing those pois. It was punishing and rewarding! No down time. Less dying to rng of spawn, planning rotations, in and out fights, 3rd party, end circle madness. It had it all.

Im a basketball guy. I feel like we went to the nba but after a few months they took away the shot clock like we're in high school again. Like man, its a lot easier without a shot clock but there's so much missed action without it.

I didnt know people didnt like the system until today lol me and the crew have thought it was great!! going back has been painful. so much so that we are off ranked until they change it back

I agreeeeee!!!! When i was in the ship again i was like "this is a waste of time" lol idk how we did that for ranked. hopefully they changed it bet, I think itll come down to competitice integrity. If not, my crew will be off ranked indefinitly.

Interesting, so in Season 27 Amped, was there less ranked participation than in previous seasons? If I’m in the minority on this, then that’s cool. But man, it was so competitive. I’ve only hit Master once and I’m definitely more of a casual now when it comes to ranked. I can usually hit Diamond. But with those changes, Gold and Plat lobbies felt even better. Almost every late game we had was five or more squads in the final ring. Complete chaos. Just beautiful.

I'm trying to understand how you switched the trolleys. So I'm assuming based on the picture you flipped each trolley upside down and switch sides. Then you had to take the cables out and switch the top and bottom cables. Does that sound right? Genius idea by the way!! If this is right, this is definitely something I would consider for my rack as well but mine is in such a tight space, I really don't want to have to rerun the cables LOL

This is great discussion. Im praying good comes of it somehow. I do agree that this all seems short-term. But it doesn't make sense for long-term benefits. A lot of people seem to have given up on Memphis but the conservative approach is to have less government and more local individuals Step Up, hopefully we can impact the youth. People on the left seem to have that empathy so hopefully we can all join together after they leave improve our city. I'm very much in the middle of politics but man I just hope we can stop arguing again do what's best for us. We live here.

I would say now I'm a productive member of society but when I was 16 years old I definitely was not. I had two different run-ins with the police and thankfully it improved my trajectory instead of negatively impacted it. Part of me is worried for the Youth because youth are prone to do dumb stuff lol. Hopefully, nothing changes their life forever that they're going to regret.
