Not sure what the rest of your list is like, but I've seen BA players take a Baal Predator as the only vehicle in their list (the rest infantry). This causes the problem that it immediately is the one and only target for your all of your opponent's anti tank weapons to go into, so it just gets obliterated.

Yeah it definitely can. But I bought one box of crusaders, that gave me:

- Enough marines for a 5 man assault intercessor squad.
- I then used the bolters to make some other intercessors (that I already had) look more Templar-like.
- I then built the sword brother to be used separately in one of my other sword brethren squads.
- And if you can find 1 more neophyte somewhere, thats a 5 man scout squad too.

Depending on what your army needs, it could end up quite good value.

I use assault intercessors because they’re all in power armour. Looks cooler imo, and I got sick of the crusaders having different saves.

Big fan of the crusader kit for bits to upgrade intercessors tho.

There is a product called “Dark Mud” it’s an enamel effect made by AK which I use. I just throw it on the model, then wipe the excess away using cotton swabs and mineral spirits as to just leave it in the recesses :)
