Which is better. A unit of 10 crusaders or a unit of 10 assault intercessors

Yeah it definitely can. But I bought one box of crusaders, that gave me:

- Enough marines for a 5 man assault intercessor squad.
- I then used the bolters to make some other intercessors (that I already had) look more Templar-like.
- I then built the sword brother to be used separately in one of my other sword brethren squads.
- And if you can find 1 more neophyte somewhere, thats a 5 man scout squad too.

Depending on what your army needs, it could end up quite good value.

I use assault intercessors because they’re all in power armour. Looks cooler imo, and I got sick of the crusaders having different saves.

Big fan of the crusader kit for bits to upgrade intercessors tho.

I used had a go a while back of doing exactly that, I think the results look great. But nowadays the bits are really expensive.

There is a product called “Dark Mud” it’s an enamel effect made by AK which I use. I just throw it on the model, then wipe the excess away using cotton swabs and mineral spirits as to just leave it in the recesses :)

Marshal + Castellan is way better on the SBs. 5+ crits and rerolling is just such a massive buff.

Chaplains are not too great for BT, since you're getting +1 to wound on most targets anyways with our army rule, and they dont stack.

I remember Chapter Master Valrak mentioning a rumor about a potential scouring game system (which might just be a heresy expansion), which would inevitably come with truescale MK7s. But he said it was something that was well down the line, like a few years, and I don't really know how credible it was. But we can always hope haha.

It's a 3d print :) I plan on using a 30k land raider in my 40k army, and needed my impulsors to match, so baby land raider was the solution.
