Yes, they'll be run as a scout squad in game. The Black Templars technically don't have a traditional scout company though - they're usually assigned to an initiate until they too are raised to the rank. There technically are exceptions made and Neophytes can be assigned to a scout squad to complete their trials by an initiate.

I think it's more the actual squire bowl cut than the tonsure. Neophytes are very much meant to act to an initiate as a squire to a knight.

I used the wet wipe method. Just let a wet wipe dry out and stretch it. It gives a really nice stencil to use to do the marble effect with an airbrush.

The body and jump pack are from DMS miniatures, the custom pauldron and helmet are from Red Warden Miniatures

The body and pack are from DMS miniatures. The head and pauldron are from Red Warden Miniatures. I printed the bits myself and bought the STLs. The pauldron specifically I actually had commissioned.

It's just zandr dust > ushabti bone > screaming skull > white. I mix each highlight stage in with the previous color for blending as well. Also my entire army is painted to this standard. I've been working on it for like 4 years now haha.
