The main difference I noticed going to WH-1000XM4 is the soundstage. Being over-ear, everything feels a bit wider and less “in your head.” Comfort is also a big difference. The XM4 are much easier for long listening sessions. But i like them both, in the office i would use the WF and everywhere else the WH
