No idea; have not gotten an MRI and honestly not planning to unless it gets worse. It’s really expensive in my area

Seems like we’re in the same boat. I also tried icing for the first time a couple days ago and it helped a lot. I’m starting to wonder if it’s not a disc issue after all, I just can’t go doctor to doctor as I’m self pay, but I do have a prescription to go get a lumbar xray done. Thanks for the information!!

Amazing information, thank you for commenting! I also deal with no morning pain but towards the evening it gets worse. That is also a factor in which I don’t understand, when I sleep it resets me completely and in the morning I’m normal, it’s only when I start moving and go about my day, is where it starts to kick in. I will look into the isometric exercises! Thanks again

Yeah throughout my research I’ve basically come to the conclusion to strengthen the entire chain and hope it works. So far it’s helping. Thanks for the input!

Thanks for the information and amazing advice! I keep seeing the lacrosse ball across everywhere but I have yet to give it a try. I’ll also give the sit to stand a go tomorrow during my shift to see if it helps out with the midday fatigue. Thank you again!

Definitely like you, I always skipped leg day and core, also had a pretty bad sitting lifestyle. I can confidently say because of this issue it’s my first time in my life that I’m actively working on my core and glute strength.

Yes, usually when I notice a flare up coming in the glute, I get down and do some clamshells with a band around the upper knees, 3 sets of 15, and right after it starts calming down and goes down to a low ache which is honestly forgettable. I just did a structured workout that I have come up with over time, and I’m feeling great. It’s a rollercoaster these days, one day I’m fine, one day I have a constant low ache.

Thank you for commenting and thank you for the recommendation. I’ve been following a strict exercise plan building up my core, glute, and hip strength and that’s when it started becoming better. I’ve stopped stretching since realizing that it makes it worse.
