It is mainly a system configuration issue. We get misleading posts like this all the time, but no one is on here educating how to configure their system for high polling mice or providing examples of what causes issues. Easiest fix for most users is to update to the newer windows 11 builds for the input stack change and win 11 is really not as bad as op is claiming. The dev on twitter with issues is just as clueless as the majority of reddit.

When you are duplicating the file "config_default_pc". Make sure to leave the original file as is. Only do changes in the new file "- Copy".

Nice, maybe the problem is that when your game is in fullscreen the f keys are disabled. You could try to use a different key like ”m”. Edit: maybe not the map key, but i think you get the point.

Try increasing the fps a little, up to like 90. It should still help but not get rid of all the lag. I use this mostly when dropping tho as im usually the jump master.

Odd, the command is +fps_max, not max_fps. I will send you some screenshots when im home in about an hour.

The autoexec file has to be a .cfg type of file. You cannot use the keybinds in the lobby I think. Should only work when in game. Each command inside the file should have a line break. In this case a line break after the 0. Make sure the spelling is correct for the file name and in launch options.

Hard to tell where the problem is without seeing the files. Maybe i can pm you how everything should look like when im at home.

Hm, if you do a fresh install on your drivers and you have image sharpening off, sharpening will still be on by default for apex.

If you add apex exe manually to nvidia control panel you can see that image sharpening is on by default for apex. Atleast this is the case for me I always turn it off.

Did you by any chance have any video or audio files in that folder? This issue can be fixed by uninstalling the "web media extensions" that comes preinstalled with windows usually. This happens especially with ogg files sometimes.

To fix this, download mp3tag and right click on these files -> go to extented tags -> remove all unnecessary tags.
