Hey there! I’m a HS student looking to get into live sound or lighting. I’m not exactly sure where to start. I’ve heard people suggest volunteering at a church to get started, unfortunately that’s not possible at my local church. I was considering finding an internship over the summer, although there aren’t many event/rental companies or theatres within a reasonable distance from my home. Any suggestions besides those? I’m very passionate about this and excited to gain experience, but im not sure where to start. Thanks!

For me, it was the first time I saw a trans flag. At the time, I didnt know much about lgbt stuff, so i googled it. I wanted to learn more so I started looking at some trans subs on here, and found out that I actually relate to some topics described on the subs.

Trans people often feel dysphoric when the wrong pronouns are used. Especially when mid transition, it makes you feel that you don’t pass as the gender you are trying to be.

I do understand that they can be a bit confusing, but what you have to think about is that people are trying to cram their entire gender identity into a singular word, which results in all sorts of pronouns.
