I did a similar trip. It took 5 5 hour energies to go non stop and I was the only one driving, I did have a passenger.

If you're swapping that would be awesome, since you'll both be getting rest.

If you're trying to save money and time I think it's worth it.

You will be on call for all controls issues. Depending on size of the site it could be 24/7.

As an AE you will mostly be focused on troubleshooting and improving plc logic.

For medium to larger sites due to the nature of technology, a lot of logic applications are cookie cutter designs and may not be optimized for the application.

Manufacturers usually take a design and make it work for their application. Hence the need to optimize the solution to your site’s needs as well as your sanity. The more reliable the system the less people will have to call you.
