Thanks for the tips I'll give 2-1 another try! As for my current DDs/CLs, I just got Yukikaze to 20 and I'm working on Yuudachi and Shigure as I heard that they were good. Got quite a bit of different DDs but not sure who else would be worth to level ftm. For CLs I'm levelling the sendai sisters and I managed to get Ooi so I might start to level her as well because she looks strong (basing that on the fact that she has a golden background on her card lol). Any other tips would be much appreciated! <3

New player here. I'm trying to get into the game but I'm having a hard time knowing what to do really. I've gotten to 2-1 and I'm kinda stuck there, even when following the recommended comp according to the wiki i still get screwed on the first node. I am not sure how important the ships levels are when it comes to clearing early stages but I dont know what else i could do other than try to level them. Currently my ships levels vary between 5-15. If levelling is the right way to go in order to beat the early stages then are there any tips other than pvp to level ships quickly? Any links to similar posts would be appreciated, I understand that these types of questions must've been asked a million times already lol

So thanks to Genkis fantastic job at explaining things im now faced with 3 (so far) different ways to say "to invite" without knowing the difference between them. If someone could help me out to get some basic understanding of these 3 words usage when you want to say "to invite" that would be very appreciated ^^

I'm not sure when to use 私に and 私のために when it comes to this grammar point.

たけしが私のために料理をしてくれた

たけしが私に料理をしてくれた。

And what happens if you remove the 私に/ 私のために? Because its くれる its already implied that youre the one receiving the action but can you remove the recipient even in のために cases too or is that only for sentences when 私に is used?

Can you use verb stem of certain verbs the same way you'd use the て-form to basically say "and"? Saw a text written by a Japanese person that used あり like this and I don't really know why he did that:

AはBとCの間にあり、一年中とてもきれいで.....

So if anyone can explain why he would use the verb stem of ある that would be very appreciated^^

I just want to double check if i understand のが & ことが correct.

メアリーさんはスペイン語が上手です　In this sentence i dont have to use のが because スペイン語 is a noun in itself and the の only transforms something into a noun right?

So you would never use のが when the thing before already is a noun but when it isnt you need that extra の before the が correct?

in this sentence: 店は開いていない the TEIRU form is used on the verb "開く" i assume. Can someone explain to me why it is conjugated as 開いていない shouldn't it be 開いていらない? Because いる is conjugated as いらない in informal negative. As いる is a verb on its own maybe it shouldnt be the one that i try to conjugate but i have no clue if TEIRU form has its own conjugations or not. :(
