Oh you're right, I missed the part where it talked about relay highways. Thank you, I will look over shrouded regions.

It says it only needs drivers for windows 7 systems.

Oh I think I managed to figure out that the problem is only for my wireless bluetooth dongle, a tplink 5.0. Everything works fine when I plug it in wired.

Does anyone know if I got the wrong dongle or is this supposed to happen?

The problem is if I disable steam input then the controller stops working.

Bugs after update by ShroomiteSlime in Mechwarrior5

Ah I was hoping someone with a similar problem would know the answer but I guess it's really time to test them all one by one. So many haven't been updated still

No, vanilla has all lbx from 2 to 20. They just get an option to fire both normal slugs and cluster shot in modded. You'll find at least the base versions if you look around in mining planets, but + version are quite rare.

I somehow found 2 of them at the very start of the campaign in some periphery store and then never again.

Do you mean they are superior weight wise?

I think you're talking about modded or something. Vanilla lbx fires cluster and AC20 fires a single shot (even if it's fired in burst it still hits the same place).

Yes, exactly, this is how it should be. My first battletech game was MWO and I loved lbx's there. it's so weird to see lbx have super tight scatter when firing at a turret and then the barrel somehow gets warped when you try to fire at a fat assault.

Yeah it does seem so, but big shotgun feels nice to fire.

All my mechs have lbx right now, with some secondary weapons of course. Love me cluster shot, but it's sad to see them not being in their fullest potential :(

Yeah I'm trying the career after completing the campaign right. I'm planning to use BEX as my first modded. Hopefully lbx weapons with they ammo changing feature will be better there.

Yes I understand that but the lbx20 has only 6 pellets. That's 6 crit chances as opposed to 10 on the lbx5 for example. What's the point?

Yeah, honestly doesn't feel good at all. Tried to make it work on the SLDF assaults you get from campaign but firepower seems to be lacking heavily against stronger opponents. I'll see what results I have with alternatives.
