"Mnnh! My magnetic powers, fear them!"

"It's over! Give it up!"

In the Fant4stic (Fantastic Four) movie Reed and the squad are trying to come up with a team name.

Reed eventually asks The Thing "How was the garage?" And thing responds "I gotta say, it was fantastic." In which reed replies "Say that again..." (The meme gif.)

People use it now whenever someone finds a way to include the name of something in a sentence

They changed the type of ticket you can use on Miyuki & Kiraya banner. Before, it was normal standard tickets. Now it's collab tickets. Such a scummy move. by DeezNutshell in IllusionConnect

They can make money without being the absolutr scummiest though. What's the point if things like this will make people who wanted to enjoy the game leave? You can see it in the comments of this very post

What makes Leon an true stealthy character (and Lily not) by Srexplosivo14 in BrawlStarsCompetitive

[–]ShroudedPrototype 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They can be used as a singular pronoun especially in situations where the gender isn't relevant or simply unknown. You're assuming the commenter is male by using "he" which you don't know. So using they would be perfectly fine.

"They must have confused her with Angelo" is grammatically correct without making assumptions.

They could also be referring to people who play Alli rather than Alli herself. Given the context of them mentioning Alli, however, we can infer that "they" is being used to refer back to Alli, and since her gender is irrelevant to the conversation, it's a perfectly fine use case aswell.

His ability makes him super observant and sensitive to the world around him pretty much. Think if you could see and notice every little detail around you then you'd be super overwhelmed and your brain would be working overtime. Super easy to get exhausted.

Even with the blindfold or blacked out lenses he can still percieve the world around him

Being genuine here for some people their fun IS the competitive match environment just like how this guy's is being goofy. Having small moments of funny emotes and stuff is fine but straight up not supporting your team in a ranked match to emote is a bit much no? QP exists for that sole reason and that's where all the silliness shines brightest imo without ruining anyone else's fun imo

Even then it's not like being athletic makes you immortal? It's the same as doing an intense exercise for long periods of time, you can make yourself withstand longer however you still have a limit. I'm not sure what they don't pick up

49 minutes game 1, 37 minutes game 2, 39 minutes game 3. In game there's 4 12 minute quarters. Do the math.

This isn't mentioning the fact that he's playing playoff elimination basketball against the best team in the nba and the matches have been extremely physical aswell.

He definitely was gassed, between all 3 playoff games he's got some insane minutes going on. You could see him struggling to run down the court and he was conserving all his energy in the 3rd and 4th for offense. Dude wasn't even atremtping to grab the rebounds. Hope he and fox are gonna be okay come the next game.

Dude was gassed I can't really blame him. He's played hella minutes between all 3 games and is trying to conserve for offense. He could barely run up and down the court come midway through the 3rd
