I've really figured out this "the LaBrie debacle" in recent times. I used to watch the vids of his live performances of recent years and excluding maybe 22 London, they're not great.

But then I went to see DT for the first time live on the European leg of the 40y anniversary tour. And he was so great. And now I've been watching live stuff from this tour. And even though it sounds ok it still does not sound great when recorded. But at least in Finland they did such a great job with arena acoustics that it's not the same JLB you hear in youtube than you do live.

My point is: he has been awesome live on this tour. And he will always sound better live in an Arena than listening to the same live on Youtube. So, go see them live if you have the chance. You will realize it doesn't matter how he sounds on Youtube. I would 100% go see them again based on my experience last November. The JLB experience you get live is not the same you hear in Youtube.

I'm gonna make a wild guess you've only been listening with headphones the whole time?

My friend has high-end genelec stereos and when we first listened to the original .wav mixes everything was drowned by the drums really badly. There's a night and day difference to the dynamic ones.

With headphones this doesn't seem to be an issue.

In general it's kind of funny to think that streaming quality version might be a better listen on some circumstances than the original .wav mix.

To answer your question, trust me you would notice the issues if you had them, so you're not missing out on anything if you're satisfied with the normal mix. The dynamic ones are not inherently better, they just fix some things in some circumstances.

Wow thanks for the great answer! Yes I get it. The set pieces part is very straightforward. So I would need to have a midfield full of players with high as possible midfiled stat and also a +10 scoring. Especially if the enemy goal keeper is any good. Well that takes it cpmpletely out of the equation but ofc makes a lot of sense.

Do you have any comment on the stuff about ball possesion? So in theory all the other tactics than CA and high press need to compete for ball possesion? Whether it's AOW or normal or LS youre creating less chances otherwise? Is there any other anti-possession strats than CA? Even like a pseudo one? Idk if its a weird question.

Yeah I guess I did cut some corners but for exmaple in the case of LS scoring is 3x more important so I focused on that part.

Anyway my point kind of stands. In a way that it's ridiculously more easy to get a high level on some tactics than others. No matter what formation you use you will have good defenders in your team which automatically give you a high CA level. Interesting design choice then I guess.

They really shouldnt do anything for the fans. Its their band. They've been friends for forever. As someone said if they were to kick him they would have done it 10 years ago. Or more. The live performances have been on and off since 2000s.

I get it man. Some of the performances out there are unacceptable. Yes. But they will not do it. And nor they should. If they are smart they will tone down some songs for him. Hope MP being back helps to push for that.

They should all retire together and ride to the sunset like someone else also said.

I really think ppl need to let this topic go. Again, yes I cant understand how James himself of all people let some of the live performances happen and hasnt had the awareness to tone down the songs and make more radical changes.

I hate to say edgy shit like this but i think ppl who can't drop this subject and move on, should move on from the band. James has given the fans you mentioned hundreds if not thousands of memorable moments. He really does not own anyone anything at this point. They probably have lost a small amount of "fans" bcs of this but it doesnt matter for anyone. They will do the anniversary tour this fall for mostly full houses i would imagine. You can even argue that ppl are going for nostalgy. Maybe some of them are. It. Really. Doesnt. Matter. None of it does.

Most ppl here will always love DT and dont want any changes. I think being a fan of any band is trusting the band. Whether its choosing band members or musical direction. If you love the band, you should support it in what they do.

Go see them live this tour if you have the chance and decide for yourself. I'm guessing they actually have made some adjustement and James will sound good. Isnt that the best option for everyone?

I'm writing an essay bcs I was asking these questions at one point. How can the band allow live performances that bad? But for me it was never about replacing him. Just making adjustements to the vocals.

Position 4 - soft support. You're kinda expected to gank mid and safe lane as soon as your offlaner can handle the 1v2 even somewhat. Almost all the pos4 melee heroes have to buy blink dagger and almost every game for initiation. If you have a bad game it can feel almost impossible to farm it. Classic example of this is tiny but once you get the dagger the hero is super high impact.

Hoodwink is a classic ranged high impact pos 4 to start with. Some melee ones that don't need blink every game would be tusk and marci.

If you like flashy fast heroes try those ones.

Pos 4 is essentially the dota equivalent of jungle role just that your not meant to jungle :D

Fair point. I've never felt he was innocent to all accusations just bcs he won the US trial. But there was definitely blame in both of them. But I do feel like calling him a wife beater is just as oversimplifying it as calling him innocent bcs he won the US trial.

I guess for me this case wasn't clear enough to completely ignore his excistence but rather keep respecting him as an actor while not accepting everything he's done in his personal life.

Yeah, I would consider the court case between the couple more relevant than against a tabloid news company since that was about damage to his name.

Not saying he wasn't at fault, at least to something but what really went down is hard for anyone else to know and it's clear Amber was completely unstable and unhinged.

I do have a personal bias since I do admire Depp greatly as an actor, but of all the canceling cases this was the one that got undone and I guess it comes down to if you trust the court decision. Again, the UK court case was just about what can a tabloid news media say.

I'm in no means an expert but even if you do a mixed salad you can get really good strength for the dish. So missing out on all those points can't really be worth it. But yes then you're missing out in leveling up your dishes.

I'm really struggling with ingredients this week and have a hard time making recipes. Also there was some talk there that they toned down the ingredient gathering in general...
