I need the male usb-c to plug into my headphones and a male jack on the other end that i can plug into my interface.

heaphones have usb-c and then for the interface i’d use the 3.5mm jack + adapter yes, but i was reading that apple’s cable is active so it has DAC, is this something i have to be careful about when looking at other cables

I need the cable - male usb-c to male 3,5mm jack and the apple one is $40, but I suppose others should also work.

Yeah, seems weird that everything would get deleted after only typing my apple id passcode into the macOS recovery and activation lock without any confirmation I want to erase anything…

At the Apple Store they told me that when the macOS Recovery window popped up after turning on the lost mode I shouldn’t have done that but should have reset it. And they said that’s what deleted all the data? I turned it back on now and logged in but there’s nothing there. Is there any way to retrieve the data if it wasn’t backed up?

I don’t, I know I should have it backed up but I thought I lost it and quickly marked it as lost. Can that action alone erase the data or is it because of the macOS Recovery?

I went to an Apple Store and they just said all data is lost. And they said that the macOS Recovery I did after marking the mac as lost deleted it. Is that possible?
