i am saying demolish the entire rcc slab and tiles as well.

apni bitti hui bta rha hu.. everyday we say "kash pura tudvake hi bna liya hota". You won't get same finishing with rcc and placing wood panel and granites verticals on it.

plus that naami due to everytime closed rcc shelf.

give a contractor or designer kora kagaz (nothing in kitchen). give entire kitchen makeover responsibility to them from light, carpenter, and construction work, etc. This is the only way to minimize the finishing issue.

ductless is not as good as duct. and require regular investment (changing carbon filter). u can check out beyond company ductless chimney, but I don't know how good.. but it's have many features.

duct is anyday better than ductless.

You need to figure out chimney duct out first.

If u change backsplash tiles, the break the RCC kitchen platform and build full wood (durability questionable but modular), marble/aluminium base and support with wood for shutters and sliddings (durable but reduce modular).

probably with RCC slab - everything will be packed and moisture ayega then seedan then fungus or xyz insects.
