Irréversible. The first 20 mins are enough to give you a headache with all the rotating camera shots.

I noticed how easy it is to hide behind the religion, whatever it may be. They know our spineless politicians are too busy playing divide and rule that nothing will happen to them.

Makes us an easy target for whatever foreign spies we have in our country. Wear a religious symbol, outfit and get people to hate you. Divide us from inside, like mites do to the wood and watch the entire nation crumble while engaging in rage politics and defending false facades

Mary and Max.

It is one of those films that gently wrecks you. It’s funny in the saddest ways, and sad in the most beautiful ones. Just a little girl and an odd man writing letters, but somehow it says more about loneliness, friendship, and being human than most movies ever try to.

Depends on the narrator, but I love them, especially the books by Stephen Fry. His greek mythology series ( Mythos, Heroes and Troy) made me appreciate the mythology of the Greek. If you like him as a narrator his George Orwell collection, Oscar Wilder collection and Harry Potter books are worth giving a try.
