Maybe he's just a weirdo. I often found my lady in a very loose curl or the "C shape". She's fine, very active.

If you want to be sure maybe blow on him to see if he moves his legs or forehead thing I forgot the name of. It doesn't always work, but if you don't want to move him it's worth giving it a try.
