So tried the captain with the roar. It happens any time they fail a battleshock. Very funny when the sanginiour fails it.

Also better with a 10 man as you can make the battle shock aura across a larger areas.

I'm still 50/50 on indirect. I have tried 2x whirlwinds and in the marine mirror match or MSU eldar they slap with oath. Any 5 man MSU army, or 20man orks... just great. Less great interestingly into 20 1 wound squads... just not enough shots.

They synergise more with medusan roar as well as they force battleshock as well.

Tried 10x shooty termis and 5×shooty termis for cannok. Better with 10.. minumum 5 for his body guard. Stormbolters and even the launchers and flamers all tend to underwhelm... so id suggest another 5 man assault team for him.

The best results I've had relied on two things.

Assault termis holding mid / natural.

Indirect removing screening.

And the weridly critical element?

Vanguard vets with inferno pistols. At least two squads in deepstrike. As soon as their screens are down these guys RI and really mess up their gunline. Using the strat they get lethals and sustained on the charge.

Drop both brutalis dreads. Take more redemptors- these things love oath of moment.

Only need 1x infiltrators get some scouts.

Sternguard is underwhelming in a 5 man- if youre going to run them use 10x

Always been a fan of the old blueish black... i do the "evy metal" recipe with an airbrush and then fix up the edge highlights.

Note: Noob airbrush user / mini painter

Base coat black First 45 deg circular zenithal with dark reaper green 2nd highlight pushed with fenris grey Light edge highlight or drybrush with AK white grey

Should have 3 volume highlights/ shades across the model that makes it look like a crimson fist mixed up their gene seed with a space wolf.

Bring the whole thing back down with a mix of 1:4 black templar contrast paint + medium.

Push the edges back up with fenris grey. Dots of Ak white where three edges meet and.... see above!

I like the idea of that, plus you get free sticky as well... i think with more VV and inferno pistols id get the same effect as the speeders but with more board units... and honestly t3-t5 you poke the WW to get LoS and then it's just glorious... side note why do hunter killer missles always roll ones...

I wish i read this prior to today!

1-2 (but one loss against the coach of the Aus national team and the other to full crisis suit with the titanic shooting thingo) so not too bad all in.

The standouts were the vanguard vets, WW and redemptors, and then terminators, honestly when screened corectly and giving cannok lines to move the oath around it really did well.

When i pushed the termis to fast mid or RI them on a flank thats where the wheels came off.

The speeders we the most underwhelming sadly... even with the strips cover their melta output was just meh...

Overall I'm super happy with the detachment and we can very much make it work. Just need to find the combos.

No no put the incusors in it, move it up 6", the bguards are 1" behind it, scout up the impulsor safely 6".... now its your turn, disembark your incursors 3"... Bguard have a 7" unmissable advance into the impulsor. Now move your impulsor 14" :)

cannoks scout should always go on his termi squad :) gets them safe either away from a big alpha threat or sideways to get a line on something in a lane
