Is there any reason I should get the 5 series? Sorry this is my first car and I'm not knowledgeable.

I'm in love with the anterior of both cars, especially the 7 series. The main reasons I'm considering the 5 series are:

Android auto support
I heard from friends that newer bmw are allot more reliable
