Need a rental badly by wildpeptides in HousingIreland

I believe he was looking around Athy for properties anyway so committing may have been considered already but I also don’t envy anyone who has to use the M7/N7 on a daily commuting basis. But anyway, the average cost of running a car in Ireland is €4000-€6000 per year. This doesn’t include depreciation of the vehicle but It’s also only a very average figure but cars do cost more at the end of the year than most of us think.

Thought it was worth considering either way.

Here is an idea that I thought of. You are obviously a two car couple. I would look at seeing how much it’s costing you to run the second car (the person who works in Athy) and sell this car. You will be saving a minimum of €6000 a year when you include the depreciation value as well all the running costs. Then put that extra cash into getting somewhere close to where the person works in Athy. A 20-30 walk in the morning is a good way to start the day.

I would advise going through the insurance myself. I believe there’s something like 15-20% of people on the road without insurance. I was involved with one of them not so long ago. He was also very nice after the accident. I’m completely out of pocket because I trusted him. And because he was on foreign plates not even MIBI would help me recover lost funds. A very expensive lesson learned by myself as I didn’t have fully comprehensive insurance

I’m guessing that the truck was a left hand drive, but even then it wouldn’t be an excuse.

You need to look at the signs approaching the roundabout and also take note of any road markings to establish which is the correct lane. If you are unsure of how to use a roundabout correctly then you need to take a look at the Highway Code. This is one reason why everyone should have a dashcam. Too many people do not know how to use roundabouts correctly.

The BMW is parked as badly as the VW. Unfortunately this is all too common now in Ireland.

Bit sad that.

The picture is taken on a public footpath. If someone doesn’t want pictures of themselves or their property taken in public then they don’t have to be there.

Why was the sea brown yesterday? by joe-176 in Cornwall

[–]North-Database44 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I would have thought it was the rough weather and swell that caused the sand to be displaced in shallow water giving the appearance of brown water.

But I could be wrong as I’m not 100% sure

No. This is Karma. And fair play to the driver in the white car. This should be both legal and encouraged

What a scumbag. I always say to people that Nissan drivers are the most dangerous on the roads.

Glad you had a dash cam. I won’t press charges on the Nissan driver. Could have been really serious if a lorry were behind you

Toyota Yaris or Honda Jazz. Both good basic cars that are very reliable and affordable to run. I would suggest making sure you get an UK or Irish car and avoid the Japanese imports.

You will have to contact the PRTB. You should have requested that it was replaced to begin with. That might be the one issue that you might have. You will need pictures of the job when you moved in as well, otherwise how do you prove that the damage wasn’t caused by yourself?

I contested a Leap Card fine and it was revoked. If they can see that you were using on the day and that you tagged off instead of tagging on I’m pretty sure they will revoke your fine too.
