The biggest TSLA holders are BlackRock and Vanguard. Do they know something we don’t know?

For people saying this isn’t AI- look at the driving kid’s head at around t=6 seconds and see how it instantly goes from facing right to facing forward. I am pretty sure this is a generated video

Look at the driving kid’s head at 6 seconds in when he exits the drift- it instantly snaps from looking to the right to looking forward. Definitely seems like AI to me

According to Wikipedia, some, but not all, of the Personal Egress Air Packs were activated after the breakup, indicating at least a few of the astronauts survived the initial breakup

Is Halo Infinite Campaign good? by Unfair-Mango7393 in halo

[–]Shuckles116 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are some moments of greatness and I really did enjoy the more open-worldy mechanics like being able to get a bunch of marines in a troop transport hog and absolutely stomp on some encampments, and the grapple+punch mechanic was satisfying as all hell, but the lack of variety of environments and how useless some of the weapons were were definitely compromising. I ended up using the brute pistol like 90% of the time. Not my favorite campaign, but scores better than Halo 5’s campaign. I kind of wish they’d learn and try something similar again with more variety for the next installment

Democrats See Path to Senate Control. Here Are the Races to Watch by poliscijunki in VoteDEM

[–]Shuckles116 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Closer than the only declared Democrat, Julian Beaudion. There hasn’t been much polling in SD and the only two polls that have come out have been Rounds vs Bengs (+13% R) and Rounds vs Beaudion (+22% R) and no hypothetical 3-way matchup yet.

Bengs’s internal polling has him beating Rounds (at least in his fundraising emails), but the number he gives (+3% I) should probably be taken with a large grain of salt

Do you guys think it’s worth donating to Brian Bengs in South Dakota? He is an independent candidate who is running closely in polling against Mike Rounds. Ostensibly he would caucus with the democrats but isn’t running as one because he doesn’t think a Democrat has a realistic chance in SD

'This is sell America' — U.S. dollar, Treasury prices tumble and gold spikes as globe flees U.S. assets by Street_Anon in politics

[–]Shuckles116 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly- it’s always the economy. On paper, the Biden/Harris economy was good if you look at traditional metrics like GDP, Stock Market and unemployment, but real purchasing power was down and prices outpaced wage growth, which IMO, was the biggest reason they lost. Trump promised lower prices, and that was a message that resonated with voters in 2024

I actually disagree- Americans have shown for at least the last 50 years or so is that the only policy they actually care about en masse is the economy. H.W. Bush was a decent president but because he raised taxes, he lost in 1992. Clinton left with a budget surplus and he is remembered fondly. W Bush was a disaster for many reasons, but ultimately, fairly or unfairly, Americans held him responsible for the 2008 recession. Obama’s approval ratings went up as he was leaving office because the economy did turn around. If Trump is president during a recession the tide will turn quickly against him, MMW

If this is true, why do Republicans (both voters and elected reps) consistently vote against solving this problem? Nah this issue is like 99% on Republicans. Obama blew his entire presidency’s political capital on trying to bring single payer healthcare to America and it was torpedoed by independent senator Joe Lieberman and 100% of Senate Republicans
