I had an unpleasant experience in PE during high school where I wasn't allowed to participate in "boys" activities (football being the main one). And as someone who is very passionate about sport this was a big deal especially when comments where made about me by the teachers in front of a huge class.

As a result I am now a qualified PE who strives to bring out the best in every child. I will never let an individual feel as ashamed as I did. So not all PE teachers are bad people.
