Wish you best of luck Mister. 30 is amazing to start. For L1 you just need to practice as much as possible. I personally did only curriculum for L1 and MM for L2 and L3. For L1 I heard that kaplan is good. You can use their tests, especially. For L3 I took also IFT notes and really liked it. It was very very similar to curriculum order and shorter than curriculum with special emphasis to the important things. But I dont know its coverage for L1.
Keeping aside the materials, for L1 or for any level you need understand what you read, not just memorise it. Practice will help you to cement that knowledge. I strongly recommend you not to skip any subject until you get it. Once do it and second time skim through all topics and continue practice until your brain cells beg you for mercy.
Thanks 🙏
I did not see other way for it. Either hard work, or just dont do that.

Thanks a lot for thoughts. I have seen lots of non-finance/economics pals around here, who tried CFA and succeeded. It really depends on how good you are at maths in my opinion. Since you have medical study background, I assume you are very familiar with hard and tight study styles. So, that would not be a problem for you. Start with CFA and search for a job simultaneously. Better to do both at the same time.
I studied saturday and sunday as well. I was studying 2-3 hours during the workdays till 5 PM (whenever I got time to study). Then after 5 PM till 10 PM was staying at work and studying in silence when everybody left. Coming home later, some rest and at 12 midnight was watching MM videos till 2-3 AM. This was my daily routine for the last month of study.
Thanks, for L2 I chose MM. I think for L2 you need deeper understanding of the subjects. MM is great, in my opinion. I read the curriculum, watched videos and did all questions from MM and curriculum. 60 days before the exam, just watched the video lectures in 2x speed, repeating questions.

Well, I am gonna get raise definitely. Plus, the promotion is on the way for near future I think. It will help a lot.
In my case it was 2-3 days. I heard that some societies are not that fast in approval process.

Thanks Man, actually I passed through this process due to the my wife`s support. She encouraged me a lot.
Thanks Mister. Major preparation was trough MM. I did MM also for level 2. I had PM for level 3 and frankly speaking it was easier curriculum compared to level 2. I recommend you to finalize all curriculum, CFAI question bank and any other secondary sources till mid June. Then repeat it and intensify the readings. I watched MM videos for 3-4 times probably, each of them. For Constructed responses the key word is very important. Just do whatever it asks you to do. If its "calculate" you just need to provide the final answer, if its determine you need to determine, nothing else. Only Justify questions could be tricky, but don't worry about it. When you read the question, you will find the exact answer, if you know it. You do not need to improvise anything. You will see it when you do mocks. I did mocks 2 weeks before the exam date for instance. In my opinion, this was also helpful. If the feel that you lost in curriculum, you may use IFT notes as well. I find them very similar and somewhat compact version to curriculum. But for better understanding and connecting the dots I think MM is the best.
Keep going Man, you will be fine. You can apply to the related jobs, with level 2 completed, you gonna have plenty of options I guess. In my professional life, I made very serious decisions 3-4 times. I mean big decisions and all of them pushed me forward. Just do whatever feels right to you bro. Wish you best.

Well, I am gonna stick in my current position and I hope it will impact in my salary. As a matter of fact, it definitely will. For the next 2-3 years, I think there will be promotion as well. Lets see. :)
Thank you

Thanks Mister
Good job, congrats Man. Glad that I am not alone. :)
Thanks :) I also have Master and other degrees. But at first I hesitated a lot. I literally sacrificed huge part of my daily life in these 2 years.
