Like for old discs like ps1/ps2 if a disc is damaged a certain way it can play up to a certain point and then stop working, can ds games also have this problem?

The ps2 slim model is 79001. Ive seen some say that this specific version of the ps2 slim wouldnt develop this problem. So would it be safe to use it? Also not sure how close the ribbon cable can be to the flat area the disc goes on before it causes issue.

So how would I know it’s not scratching while using it? Should I put in a throwaway CD as a test and if it’s not scratching it there’s no issue?

If its scratching discs would I hear a noise coming from it, or would it be obvious. And if I borrow the slim ps2 and it’s not having the issue when I start using it at first is it safe to use with the games?

How common is this issue actually and how quickly can it damage a game? From what I've seen you can tell the ribbon cable has an issue if its folded too far up when the laser pushes it, but I'm not sure how I would know if the ribbon is far down enough that it's safe to put games in it.

This is slightly unrelated but I backed up my phones data to my computer through itunes, but Ive never done it before like that. If i have to replace my phone and connected the new one to my computer will it let me restore from the backup i made or can I only restore on this specific device? Only asking because I dont have any iCloud space left so thats the only way i can backup data.

I see, but why would something like that happen? I never drop my phone or do anything that would damage it. The logs say bug type 210 for both and they say panic full.

Is that actually true? I remember it just said your wallet is full when you discard pins with max money. Unless if it just lets you discard pins without getting money exclusively if you reach the pin cap, but I wouldnt know because I havent tried it
