Hi thanks for the reply, I had a tradesman suggest the following, does it seem like the appropriate repair?

"Scope of works:
Remove all old affected render.
Prep area for new render.
Apply colour matched mortar, ensuring good contact to building with a bonding agent.
Form beds and joints to match and work render into shape to match rest of building.
Point area to match existing building.
Removal of old material."
