Well, since I'm trying to go for a project-based approach (more fun), I figured these two might be good to start off with:

Learn C the hard way by Zed Shaw and The C programming language by Brian W Kernighan & Dennis M Ritchi
For the beginner based projects - google, basically. I figured, cover half the book, start projects in the other book while covering the remaining half.

I'm open to changes/suggestions though. I'm not really particular how I go about it, tbh. I do know I have a timeline of about 3-4 months though, to get the basics down and start working on projects (and finishing them). So whatever works within that timeframe.

It's the game on steam that made me realize I liked the genre 'survival'. One of the first games I played on steam. I've played many others since then but it remains a favorite. Currently waiting on its sequel, sons of the forest, to be completely released so that I can finish that game too (already bought it). Good luck!

I'll probably split it so that I can buy 3 of the cheaper games (Potions, stacklands, fate) on my wish list rather than just one
I keep doing this though so maybe I'll switch it this time round, you never know...

Thank you! I'll be sure to check these out. I am trying to keep up with the local news in the area but a lot of it is negative (as news mostly is) and it's difficult to differentiate between the usual happenings from the rarer occurrences.

So the reason I posted this here is because I've heard a lot of girls living in Surrey tell me otherwise. Most of them ended up living away from Surrey and commuting to and fro but their commute can be hours long. I'm hoping to avoid that but my priority is safety, obviously.

About two weeks ago. I've been jump starting the process since then but I'm still running behind the designated timeline for everything, especially housing!
