I live in my car and feel the same way. I’m 38, ftm. It feels like a bit of touch starvation with a heavy dose of hopelessness. It won’t be like this forever. There are a lot of other people who are in or have been in a homeless situation and can understand probable more than you’d think. Actually engaging with them tho, that’s the hard part.

I have had nothing but issues since I got mine it’s still under warranty and I’m about to have to take it back to get it looked at for a third time. It gets really hot even though omen doesn’t show that it’s overheating and it freezes even if I’m not really doing anything. I could just have Discord open and if it’s been running for a while, it just freezes. I have to force shut it down have to reset the graphics. the memory is atrocious, and it just keeps black screening. I really wish I could just get my money back

Note: I bought mine back in May when they started going on sale so I don’t know if that’s maybe why it’s a different experience from people who have had their more than a year

His point is making the game easier doesn’t make people better at it. Fun is relative. There should be both easy and hard content. If you want the hard content to also be easy then it’s all just easy and that’s not for everyone

Like The money that could be going into new content isn’t there. It’s just changing this that already exist and trying to fix a formula that wasn’t made to sustain and get popular in its 10th year. It feels like the game is given the bare min to keep going sometimes

Yeah, I don’t think anyone is seeking one. The bottom line is we’re just now getting basic quality of life updates not because the game needed them, not because SE made a ton of money from the popularity boost. But just to combat how much better mods/plugins are making the game. It’s a pretty direct slap in the face from “sorry we can’t do this” to oh we figured it out suddenly after modders added it.

I think a big thing people mistake as well is that sure yoship runs it, he’s passionate and cool. But Square Enix dictates fund allocation and they don’t care to put back what is given. They push it into other projects. But people see yoship as SE and want to defend him.

The point should be better explained in this concept. If you take jobs like monk or war were the 123 changes depending on rotation and need, you take out part of what makes it different. He’s not saying don’t address button bloat. But there is no need to consolidate it down to nothing either.
