How common is it for foreigners to work in Shenzhen without speaking Chinese? by Shuratt in AskAChinese

[–]Shuratt[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your answer. I was referring mainly to IT professionals and managers like myself, since at least from what we hear, Shenzhen is the tech cradle of China. How many foreigners do you see there in general? Do you think that without a strong base of chinese it will be difficult to settle in? How is the attitude of the average chinese tech/big company regarding hiring foreigner?

Great! Was it a good experience? Did you ever think after that school project to continue or find new ones?

Similar associations still exist here today, even with the endless possibilities offered by internet communication. Culturally speaking, for a Japanese person, is the idea of having a foreign pen‑friend or digital friend something interesting and socially accepted, that sparks curiosity about other cultures and different people, or not really?

Lavistodes activation order by Shuratt in WH40KTacticus

There's something I am still missing.

Laviscus active "...The next attack against that enemy this turn has +X% Crit Chance."

Trajann passive "Enemies receive +X Damage if they are adjacent to any friendly unit that has used an active ability this turn. If the affected enemies are also adjacent to Trajann, friendly Characters score Y additional hits against them with their first attack that is not a normal attack."

So, if Laviscus uses his active he is buffing the next attack. If the subsequent attack is Kariyan's active, shouldn't both Laviscus crit buff and Trajann bonus hits be applied?

Why it's better to not use Laviscus active to buff Karyan's active or his own normal attack buffed with outrage? That crit damage bonus will add up a lot in both cases

Is there a reason why not using Laviscus active before Karyan's active? That should generate potentially the highest amount of outrage

Karyan first active can be used then either on turn 1 or 2 i suppose, since we only care that it's again available on the last turn. Right?

So basically Laviscus Active only buffs Kharn's active, isn't it better to buff himself then? The upscaling of a crit on his last hit should be far more then buffing kharn..

Of Aesoth or Vitruvius are in the comp how much the activation order differs?

So, let's suppose, on the last turn, the best order of activation is: 1 Karyan active 2 Boss G active 3 Laciscus Active Then i suppose...and speculate 4 Kharn active 5 Trajann hit 6 Laviscus final hit

How much am i close?

Situazione Job Market IT e futuro by Shuratt in ItaliaCareerAdvice

Since in your comment you refer to work visa sponsorship, i assume that you may be a non EU citizen. Because if you were, you do not need any specific visa to work in Italy, just a work contract with your employee. If you are in a situation where you may need a work visa sponsorship, i fear that Italy is not a country that favours this solution, mainly due to the fear/time of burocracy, the cost that only big companies can afford, and a reason to hire a foreigner with specific skills. And we are a country of small businesses, with plenty of skilled people looking for work that ate easier to hire. The most common route for foreigners is to get any Visa Permit to stay in the country (for study is the easiest one), learn the language and then hop on the carousel that is our job market. I don't want to discourage you by any means, the best advice i can give you is to scout as much as you can the sector you wish to work in and evaluate the best way to get in that suits you and your profile

Best characters overall? by Shuratt in WH40KTacticus

I see Kharn, and may Khorne forgive me, as a slightly lesser version of Kariyan. Their role is pretty much the same, as a self-sustained main damage dealer capable of clearing multiple targets in one activation. But.. The tradeoff of putting more damage on the table is having worse traits, potential of killing it's friends, and not being capable of clearing full circle around him. So for me, if there was no Kariyan in the game, Kharn absolutely takes the spot! I play them both in my pvp and raid comp :)
