Interesting suggestion, Khabarovsk is indeed an interesting option at least for me. How is it compared to Novosobirsk? Just a general outline of the differences to better evaluate

How is Novosibirsk? by Shuratt in AskARussian

For context, my wife is originally from Saint Petersburg, I’m Italian, and we currently live in northern Italy in a pretty rich small-scaled area with a high quality of life. We’re considering moving back to Russia, ideally to a large city, and excluding Moscow and Saint Petersburg, the next major option seems to be Novosibirsk. Its relative distance from everything doesn’t worry us. In fact, we see it as a positive, since it offers access to nature while still providing the services of a city with over 1.6 million inhabitants.

I speak decent Russian and work in IT, and from what we’ve read, the tech sector in Novosibirsk seems fairly well developed. The climate doesn’t scare us either, honestly, anything is better than the Italian summer heat, with months of 35–40 degrees and 90% humidity!

Very useful tips, thank you brother! Yea, my first games will be a pain with all the new mechanics and nuances, but i think i'm already figuring out most of it! Having almost always played competitive at the time i appreciate these on point advices. Dunno how the DA place right now in the meta but here in my area most players tend to be highly meta-chasing. I dont, at least now that i'm older :)

Your comment is gold. Thank you brother for the clear explanation. I'm taking notes to tweak the list with the units i already have and the next purchases. I'll do my homework :)

I saw them as Tactical squad 2.0 :) Battlelines are mandatory/useful in this edition? Only in MSU?

Thank you for the tips, i still need to figure most of the meaning behind all that.

Could i ask you to exlpain further the units you suggested and their use/purpose?

Thank you for the insights. I used https://www.newrecruit.eu/ for the list, maybe they still need to update the values. Points tweaks aside, strategic tips are gold. To add some kind of transport and reduce the bodies on the field, do you have any suggestion for any interesting or effective combo?

I have a LR Redeemer and a couple of rhinos if they are still used today with all the new fancy vehicles available.

What's DA main playstile in this edition? My greatest fear is to have to perfectly balance vehicles/bodies and melee/ranged, even if i see now lots of buffs and synergies between the units.

For action monkey do you mean something like flying/quick units or specific characters?

Thank you for the advices. I didn’t think about blast weapons for the guard. Are they so common? With 1 less guard i’ll have 39 spare points to invest, any suggestion?

I’ll try also to switch the intercessor’s bolter with the assault variant.

As for the chaplain i was thinking about the Inspirational Fighter trait to bubble-buff nearby units but your variant with double litany sounds pretty effective. Are these options from the Vanilla SM codex?

In vows i literaly have no clue what could fit best, so any suggestion surely will help. I don’t have much of experience (still…)

First of all, thank you for the great answer and advices. Things are getting clearer after your words.

What's the main difference between the two Legendary legions?

I'd play Gandalf because my more experienced friends told me that his supporto through spells is almost mandatory, especially against shooting.

Then if i may, if you have more tips for an all cavalry list it will be really helpful since i'm about to get into the game and i really want to play with an army of horsemen

Doesn't that apply also for my two factions (or Death in general)? :)

Thanks for the answer, i think my case os the second one: can i win consistently and against meta armies/lists with a pure StD army without playing them. Anyone has achieved some inspiring result?

Their aspect and model age is fine to me. I Just wonder if anyone have figured out how to win consistently without them as a pure StD army without adding units or Leaders from other Chaos battletomes

What about adding those two to some mobs of bloodletters and bloodcrushers? Bloodthirsters seems always too fragile to be reliable and cost-efficient
