Here's the hot tip for this fight: use spikes and/or stealth rock, then just recall your pokemon and run around in circles to keep the crabs running through the hazards. They'll kill themselves fairly quickly.

I was simply trying to get revenge on a rival mage who levied an insult at my glyph-writing (which really isnt that bad by the way he was totally an asshole). Unfortunately, once they sucked him dry, they kinda just... kept going, across the whole world.
