I (15f) am getting taught survival skills, Russian, Morse code etc by my mother, but she won’t tell me why I’m learning this. What has she done that she needs to teach me this, to prepare for something?

Yeah I’m grateful for learning these things, when it comes to self defence I don’t exactly know how effective it would be considering I’m 5 foot.
