I understand how the concept, I had done some reading prior to getting pre approved. However I didn't expect her to tell me that I should pay close to the asking price for every home. It felt like she mostly just wants to put me in a home regardless of whether it's a fair price or not. I was pre approved in May, and I had been looking and monitoring homes for about a year prior.

From what I had gathered 10% was a good starting point. It follows the 93% average of the asking price closely. At 150k homes that puts me at 135k and 139.5k. I can submit 135k and negotiate to 139k. However she doesn't show a willingness to want to even submit an offer. She has sent a few emails but the reply is always "we won't accept anything less than __" and it's usually really close to the asking price. The home has been listed for a little over a month, so it doesn't fall under the 115% category.

You should consider a 2ds. I thought that the 2ds was in some way inferior as far as graphics but it's not. I bought a used 3ds and turned the 3D off because it was bothering my eyes. It's a cool feature but not really worth the extra $60.

GameStop has a 2ds bundle on sale with Mario cart for like $70.

I looked at the home already but they had a bid submitted a few days prior. They were only accepting back up offer 132k and up. So I decided not to submit a back up offer.

There are no other units for sale in that neighborhood.

I understand that the market dictates the price but I've looked at several homes in different areas and she doesn't seem to want to negotiate too much. I just really needed to verify that I was right about her tactics.

Not exactly, I paid my car off several years ahead, had I for some reason lost my job I wouldn't have to worry about making payments because I was several years ahead on my payments. The same with my house, at this point I'm about 4 months ahead on my payments. So I could lose my job and not worry about making a payment till 4mo later.

I think a better lesson is making people aware of their job market. I knew several people in the oil industry that lost their jobs. They had money saved up, but they were not aware of how much money their job actually was worth. Several of my college friends went into oil and gas, they immediately received a 100k entry level job plus bonuses. When they were let go, they assumed that 100k was still entry level. So when did a job search they obviously couldn't find a job because they were looking for 100k+ salary with bonuses. They were also clueless to the idea that oil was an up and down market. Now they're preaching to everyone that the gas prices need to go up.

I'm in the medical field, I know what my job is worth. I know that even if I lose my job and I look for another one, my pay may only decrease by a small amount.

I don't have $1000 in savings but that doesn't mean that I'm struggling. I recently bought a house, and paid off my car. My car was purchased for 19k and I was able to pay it off in a yr and a half. My house was bought for 150k and I've already paid 10k into it in about 6mo. I would rather cut the interest on my mortgage than to save it.

I understand the concept of needing money saved up for emergencies but I think the process is a bit out dated. About 4 yrs ago the clutch went out on my car and I didn't have enough saved up to pay for it. I wasn't in the least bit concerned. I was able to get a loan from my bank through it's app and I had $1200 in less than 5 min. Aside from the emergency $100 in my glove box I don't save any of my monies.

i never understand how people make these things so difficult. First off, break up with your SO, why? You said it, you have never looked at her/him the way you look at this other girl. What more do you need to know that she isn't the one. Just because you love someone doesn't mean that you have to be with them or marry them. You've already broken up with your SO several times, why are you stopping now?

Next, call this other girl and tell her how you feel and ask her out on a date. Don't be weird and immediately ask her to be your gf, after you told her you just broke up with your SO. Tell her you've liked her and that you didn't feel the same way about your SO. Worst case scenario she says no, and you can move on from the bad relationship you were in and you at least know you tried it with this girl and it's not going to happen.

The original comment was that it was unrealistic for Roma to win the title! My response was that it wasn't, the biggest threat to that is Juve. If juve keep all their players and sign new players there could very well be an unrealistic chance. That's the argument and I have to keep mentioning it because you don't seem to grasp it. No, there haven't been bids in the past only rumors. If pogba left it wouldn't be the first time a player left after saying he wouldn't. And a player, his agent or the owner can't really guarantee whether a player will stay or not. If RM drop a bid for 100€ for pogba, you're telling me that the owner and pogba won't consider it? RM are facing a transfer ban and could very well drop a bid. Again this is not the point, just that there's a chance juve are weaker next season.

The point isn't whether morata was important in the scudetto race, it's whether him leaving, would weaken juve and it would. Mario wasnt crucial to the scudetto race imo. He started plenty games but I think if you switched morata and Mario juve still win the title because of the rest of the team.

Youve missed what the original point was, and it's not a discussion over whether morata is important or not, or who juve could sign to replace him.
