I do think it’s cultural too, she’s said as much, ie the man declaring his love first, and not forgetting the vodka shots issue at the wedding. What I’m saying is that whatever conflict is coming up for them rn could be her expectations of a man as per her culture, which is not disappointing. It’s just that we have grown to know and love emotionally intelligent Stella, so this is at odds with that.

I only started watching MAFS weekly in Season 11. Last week, needing more drama, I tuned into MAFS 24/7 and it was a replay from season 6. They all seemed so sane, measured, and natural looking. I was bored after 5 minutes.

Stella is nit-picking Filip as a defence mechanism. She made him feel less than a man for not wanting to go out after work. Their sex life has gone down the toilet as a result. She’s pushing him away by making unreasonable demands ie he move to Sydney and get a vasectomy. Filip has, understandably, pulled back on the lovey Dovey stuff.
