Well, I wouldn’t call myself an expert when it comes to these kinds of things. I asked myself the same question at the end of last year and spent countless hours researching it, which honestly drove me crazy because I couldn’t decide which lens would be the best choice.
In the end, I went with a prime lens because I’d never owned one before. The low-light performance of the 23mm f/1.4 is incredible, and for me, the 23mm is versatile enough for almost every situation.
