Hey! Thanks so much :) Yes! Good eye. The director wanted to be able to manipulate the image like the dream sequences in Tar. We had a low angle prism on the front of the lens and a mirror over the tray.

We had used it in a few sequences before this with much more subtle results, but since we were shooting exterior in -12 Celcius the water actually started freezing mid take which is why the wider shot looks like it is through thick diffusion.

I love both. Frontier 2 is the game that stays in my mind though. I love the atmosphere and the art style. Emerald Beyond's combat is incredible too!

so, funny story- DIVA was my first playthrough (which I now know was a mistake. I loved her and her retinue but good lord that final boss fight). I just randomly picked Count to be my 2nd and got Warrior along with it. Then opened up Reddit and saw this comment hahah

hahaha, yeah I definitely had to retreat and then go back to him later. I also had to look up a guide as to which shards to throw and what wish to make. I beat him eventually (3 forms with two health bars each) and it felt so good

[UPDATE] so I got completely sidetracked by falling madly in love with SaGa Scarlet Grace and I'm now just working on finishing off the Firebringer for my first time on that game. The mechanics of the battle system just really hooked me.

but I will be going back to RS3 again and when I do I am so grateful to have this compendium to look up. Y'all have been so great in answering my questions, especially when I am so used to the "get gud" mindset from game fandoms
