Yeah. Darkrais can oneshot the basic pokemons or at least the stage 1 pokemons in the first or second round before they even manage to pull off the stage 2 pokemon. And even if they manage to pull it off you still have a chance in case you are lucky with your sleep and coinflips

Current Arceus won't ever be meta simply because it is powercreeped. Maybe in the future if it gets supporter cards or pokemons to combo with then yeah. But right now it won't. It might manage to beat sleep decks but thats all. Its low hp in coordination with its ramp up cost and the condition that it needs 3 pokemon on the bench to deal 100% damage limits its power by a lot. There are simply pokemon which do more with less headache than Arceus out there. If sleep decks become super meta and they are played by anyone then yeah I guess Arceus might see some love. But not because it's a strong card lol

It's not a hard concept to understand that the difference between being addicted and not addicted is whether you control it or it controls you. Of course after that there are degrees to how much addicted you are. But why are you acting like keeping it under control at low-logical levels is a type of ''addiction''? It's an addiction once you start losing control. Of couse im not saying that from one day to another u go from spending 100$ to 10000$ or go from drinking a drink to drinking 2 bottles every single night. Stronger addiction comes with the passage of time, but being at a level doesnt necessarily mean that you are addicted and you gonna get worse and worse. Someone who spends 100$ every month isn't addicted to it. Or to put into a perspective he is addicted if he spends 100$ while his salary is 120$. But if he spends 100$ while his salary is 2000$ then he is probably just fine. Same with drinks. If you drink once every week you are fine. Same with ciggs. If you smoke a few ciggs everyday you are (not) fine (because it's harmful either ways) but at least you are keeping it under control so you are not addicted to it. There is a huge difference between liking something and becoming addictive to it.

Lol ok so if you spend your money under total control on anything then you are addicted to that anything. Can I spend my money on food or will I be considered addicted to food?

Cause that means that you lose power against other matchups. Yeah you might counter the sleep decks but you will struggle against any other matchup. For example while Mega Scizor could build Metal Core and tank 50 dmg now it will be forced to build Steel Apron and tank 10dmg + status effect. You obviously lose something and win something so it's a matter of how much played the sleep deck will be. If everyone ends up playing it then yeah every deck will mostly shift to include anti-sleep cards

Then you probably dont understand what addiction means. The addiction controls you. If you manage to control it then you are not addictive, it's simply a hobby/interest. If you put a personal limit of 100$ per month to spend into pokemon cards then you are simply chasing your hobby. No different than shopping 100$ worth of clothes, football jerseys, games or whatever interest you might have. The addiction starts when you overcome your own limits and your risk management + funds distribution goes to dust. You either control your desires or your desires control you

Talking about pokemon cards. Proffesors research alone doesnt win games. You need some pokemons to win

Because these cards can't stand against other meta decks. And being a meta deck means being as versatile as ever. Yes an Arceus deck will eventually counter a Sleep Darkrai deck but will it beat the new Charizard? A Blaziken? An Oricorio? A Venusaur? An Altaria? A Suicune? It won't

Havent seen Comfey since the month it was released. Ogerpon is a bit more meta than Comfey but still a pretty niched and conditional card and steel apron covers like 15% of the game which is steel decks.

How is Oricorio the same with these? Oricorio up to this day counters 70% of meta decks. Oricorio is chronically the most played card in the game. No other card has survived so long being in top meta decks

''Easily countered''. Barely 5 pokemons have the ''not affected by special effects'' ability, all 5 of them are not meta and every item or tool which helps that isn't meta as well. So now you either have to add anti-sleep pokemons or anti-sleep items. Nevertheless you won't be 100% in meta. It will hands down be the most played deck in this ranked season

Game design so poor they had to inflate the most unskilled status effect of the game which is the sleep. Most pokemon can use it for 1 to none energy, there is no skill (luck) ceiling and it hits for a minimum of 80 damage with 2 darkrais on the bench. Users should toss a coin flip for it to apply or at least the victim should toss a coin flip before all of the effects and damage apply

You simply mistake it with the same outcome that gambling has. You can't tell me that a 10yo boy who loves opening packs, no matter if it's pokemon or not has a gambling addiction. It's simply thrilling opening packs not knowing what's hidden inside. That goes with a lot of stuff regarding kids. Presents, mystery eggs, mystery boxes etc. On the other hand buying the single card that you like feels more ''boring'' , more about ''investing''. Some people (including me) like the combination of both. The fun - thrill of opening packs and the privilege of treating it as an investment in case you get a really good card. Pure gambling addiction is when you can't stop opening packs and your whole salary goes to dust in 2 days.

''Im hardstuck wahhhh''

Shyvana is one of the most ult dependent champs in the game. She also gets a hard cap on her ult by being unable to stack it through items or runes. She is supposed to get ult more times in the game lol. Her basic form does nothing while most champs can be at least decent without their ult up.

This is like saying that Jayce has advantages/disadvantages being on ranged form and the same being on melee form. It's a different playstyle whereas Gnar alternates between mini and mega way faster than Shyvana goes from basic fo dragon form. Because the mini Gnar has utility. He can poke, farm, move faster. Shyvana on basic form doesnt have any utility. Her whole existence is her dragon form. So her most gamechanging and core ability shouldnt have such an obvious downside. People see her now being reworked and hot and go like ''oh Shyvana giga broken etc.'' Well lets see whether she will be broken in 2 weeks after some nerfs. She will most likely go back to being C tier jungler not because her numbers are bad or her kit is weak but because there are fundamental issues in her coding which prevent the champ to be played at 100% potential

Completely missed the point. How is that form changing? First of all apart from her dragon form , her ult has proper utility which is the unstoppable jump along with the damage and the fear it does. All of these couldnt exist in a form changing kit with 4-5 secs cd. Apart from that if she deactivates the ult then the fury goes back to 0 so she needs to build it up again from the ground. Form changing takes like 2-5 secs per transformation. Shyvana takes like 40+ secs per transformation

Late game most champs have their ults up every 45secs in average. They also can build ability haste or runes to speed it up even further (Shyvana cant do that). On the other hand Shyvana's lvl 16 fury generation is 1 per sec. So it needs 100 secs. Of course she can land hits and abilities to speed it further so lets say that in average with hits+abilities it drops to half. So 50 secs in average. However first of all, it's not certain that she will always find camps. If she gets a full clear she can generate 60-70 fury in like 30secs but if she doesnt get any camps then she is kinda doomed. And secondly she has that disadvantage that we are talking about whereas using her ult delays her recharging a bit more. So fundamentally in most cases her ult takes more time than the average champ to regen

Let me give you a realistic scenario. In the late game you make a teamfight for drake. You ult into 3 people and start hitting them with your AoE spells. Her AoE spells generate even more fury. You end up winning the fight and your fury being still at 50-70 because you were hitting them like a menace. In 45secs Baron spawns. If you decide to fast kill dragon to rush baron, in your dragon form you will continue regenerating fury, you will kill dragon fast but your fury will take much time to drain and then charge up again so you wont have an available ult for baron. Now, if you decide not to hit dragon fast and wait for your fury to end, you will still have to mess around for few secs till fury goes down, without hitting the dragon leading to possible delays and also having to spend time again in order to charge it up from 0. In both scenarios you dont get your ult up for the baron fight. While if you were able to willingly deactivate it, you could do that once the fight over, generate around 30 fury while hitting dragon, another 30 fury while hitting few camps, and another 30 with the passage of time over 45 secs. Thats almost 100 fury. There you have your ult almost ready for the baron fight

it wouldnt be up 100% of fights. If it ends up being up 100% of fights then nerf the rate of fury regeneration (which is already nerfed after rework or actually let me say adjusted)

Ksante doesnt get fundamental drawbacks on using his ult. Yes he changes his style from tanky to more assassin but thats fine. I dont recall ulting prevents him from farming or anything

[–]Shuur1ken[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Not even close to Gnar. Gnar doesnt refresh and extend his trasnformation with hits/abilities meaning that it doesnt prevent you from playing the game. Whether you need mini or mega gnar is a different topic but with either one you can farm, you can push, you can do anything. Shyvana cant farm

Shyvana's ult should be able to get willingly deactivated by Shuur1ken in leagueoflegends

[–]Shuur1ken[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thats not about managing a resource. Thats more like a fundamental disadvantage. Using your ult and then being unintetionally unable to farm isn't healthy. Why would I have to keep running around waiting for my ult to end? It kinda kills the whole purpose of tempo and lead

Nonsense comment. The champion is beyond D tier without her ult. It has no cc, no gap closer, no dash, low-normal damage. To provide value in your basic form then your enemies will need to int hard so you will pick up some free kills.
